Good morning everyone!
Happy Monday!
Not too much going on here today, typical day of errands and chores. Feeling much better this morning, minus the headache and lingering cough that I have. I'm going to make myself a pot of chicken soup today. I wanted to make it last week but I just didn't get around to it.
My two oldest are taking the written part of the state board exam for their Esthetics license. Fingers crossed all goes well for both of them.
That's about it for me. I hope everyone is well and has a nice day!

It was definitely warmer and more humid yesterday. Not conducive to vigorous outdoor work.
Today should be similar, with a chance of rain tomorrow afternoon.
We are at 70 degrees here, the present moment.

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

I'm a proud dad this morning!!

Friday night, Jacob played a gig at a local bakery & eatery, just his guitar and the two girls singing, and it was super! I think they're considering putting together a smaller group with just the three of them.

Saturday night, Elizabeth's ballet recital was just beautiful! I'm not saying this just because she's my daughter, but she really stole the show. At the reception afterwards, so many people came up to tell her so. She really did shine!

Then last night, Jacob played with a group of guys at a nearby church. It was a praise & worship service, and that was spectacular, too. Especially since he'd only practiced with them for an hour two days earlier. What a great show and service!

I know I'm turning into one of those gushing parents that you can't trust to deliver the truth, but I swear my kids are AWESOME!

Nothing like waiting 2 weeks to get into the ortho and having them call you 2 days before your appointment to tell you they no longer take your insurance. Guess I'll add a call to the Doctor's office to see who else they recommend.

I believe that! It was 77º when I went home for lunch! It's a warm & humid one! But unlike made, I'll that that over 44 & sleet! LOL! cheesy

Thank you! It was a nice weekend at the lake. Saturday was kind of rainy, but it's all good! Our friends new "camper" is very nice. It's hard to call it a camper...you could live in that thing! Fireplace & granite countertops. Mac daddy camper! cheesy

Hey all!!

Hope you are all having a good start of the week!
So far mine has been uneventful but that is fine with me! We have a busy week ahead with a couple softball games, a chorus concert and a track meet. I took Friday off and I am chaperoning my oldest daughter's trip to Six Flaggs.
