[Holiday]

Good afternoon! After about 12 hours of sleep (to catch up, because I only got 4 hours of it prior to the 14 hour road trip), were ready to go... Today, is a prep day (typical for us) grocery store, shopping, small amusement park (outside of Disney) and some other misc little things. Tonight, dinner inside the Park at a restaurant, watch the fireworks at Magic Kingdom form the Beach.

Typical Orlando weather, hot, humid and a chance of a thunderstorm later tonight.

Funny thing, I leave the house for vacation and I get a phone call from the alarm company, telling me that they have to dispatch the police because they have an alarm signal from my house. My in-laws checked it out for me with the police and my son left a ceiling fan on and the cause was, his girlfriend had given him a balloon and it moved, and one of the motion detectors picked it up.....Nothing like a little excitement on your first day of your vacation....

Well off to an adventurous day... Whoooossshhhh!!!!:-D

WOW! That's a good security system! I hope that is all of that kind of excitement for you while you're on vacation! Have a great time!

Just a quick hello. I'm heading out soon to run a couple of errands. I ended up with a migraine today and didn't get too much done. Feeling better now so I'm going to run to Hallmark and Rite Aid. Back home afterward to watch the Rangers vs Lightening game. I have to work on laundry in between periods since I didn't get to that today either. I'll pop back in later. I hope everyone's day is going well. Have a nice night everyone!

It was an awesome surprise to see that it was on! I am at the lake – watching it be gloomy outside (Gracie is even napping) and I'm watching Christmas vacation! Doesn't get much better than that! LOL

The p oker run we were supposed to do yesterday was canceled! They ended up canceling it already Friday night because of the threat of rain! And then it ended up being a beautiful day! So we did our own p oker run – as well as many other people… The bike path was busy! We were sitting outside on the patio of a restaurant that overlooks a beautiful channel – many of our neighbors from home were there… Everybody was having a really nice time and what comes on the speaker system but "jingle bells jingle bells jingle all the way…" Everybody started singing (and laughing) – I loved it! it was such a nice unexpected surprise! LOL of course not everyone was thrilled with it… LOL but it was too funny! I thought of all of you and how you would've loved to of been there singing with us!

Hello all! I thought I better check in due to some of you checking in on me, thanks! We have had so much flooding but Snow-in-Texas, my family and I are safe! It has been scary here and the rain doesn't seem to let up, raining right now. My neighborhood has not flooded but then you go a few miles down the road houses are under water.

In other news, my daughter went to Vegas and she brought back a souvenir, Santa Claus ornament with him holding a Las Vegas sign. She handed it to me and said, "I know it's early but thought you might like it". I told her it's never too early for Christmas!!! I need to post a picture of it, really cute! It's been nearly 10 years since I have been to Vegas, that place just keeps growing, you never have to touch a slot machine because there is so much to do there! I am sure you know all about that, Snowflake, since you lived there!

Oh yeah! Maybe this has already been mentioned so sorry if it's a repeat but I haven't been on much. I just bought the Roku3 so I can watch Netflix on TV and lots of other free channels on there. I discovered they have an exclusive 24/7 Roku channel called, Toontime Christmas, that has over 25,000 Christmas shows!!! It's free or you can pay an additional 99 cents per month for the ad free version, which I did purchase. I love it! Lots of old Christmas shows, some I have seen, some I own on VHS but LOTS I have never heard of! Of course I just got started on it and no way have I seen all 25,000! That should keep us busy awhile! cheesy

My husband is out buying a smart TV right now for our bedroom … And my friend was telling me this afternoon how she uses the Roku rather than smart TV! Pretty cool!

Good Morning, MMC!!!! It's going to be another hot and humid day here with a high in the mid 80's. Relief is in sight though with a cold front coming through tonight and a high of 68 tomorrow!!! Woohoo!!!! Bring it on!!!! Nothing really going on today. Just going to try and relax and get rid of this stupid sinus headache I have been dealing with all week. Mom seems to be holding steady if not getting a little bit better. So it doesn't look like we will be rushing back to the hospital like I thought we might earlier in the week. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!

[Holiday]

Well I may have spoken to soon this morning about mom. She started complaining shortly afterwards that her face was going numb. Then a little later her mouth started showing signs of drooping. It's not real bad yet but it's there. So we have migrated out to my aunt's house just down the street from the hospital. If she keeps getting worse, we will be headed there later tonight. I don't think it's the bleed getting worse but more of another stroke starting because of her being off the blood thinners. We shall see I guess.
