Thanks, I did! Fastest hour of the day - again! I pulled weeds, the "sprinter" hung out with me! cheesy I threw in a load of laundry, chatted with our neighbors daughter in law (she was on a walk) grabbed a salad & poof, time to come back!

I just went home & had lunch with Elizabeth. We made a quick pasta salad, and it hit the spot!

Yes, in case you missed it, yesterday saw our arrival at the 200-Day Christmas Day Window through which we have now passed.

The latest numbers:
Days to the Season: 157
Days to Christmas Day: 199

And just look at that, would you.
BOTH of our counts now start with a "1"!
(And hey. I'm afraid to look ahead to our next Milestone just yet.
Maybe tomorrow.)


The heat and humidity are slowly making a comeback and rain is in the forecast for today.
We have again started off at 70 degrees here in the central NC zone of MMC.

Good afternoon, everyone!

I tried getting on this morning, but the site wouldn't load as per usual. The problem seems to have returned for me. Hopefully it fixes itself shortly.

It's been another dreary day in Ottawa. Temperatures are barely reaching 20c and rain has persisted all day. It's days like these, I am glad that I work indoors. Oh, it helps when the students are not too bad either. They've been good thus far this week. I have another day of secondary tomorrow, then Intermediate on Thursday, and back to secondary on Friday. Overall, I am just lucky to still be working (and full weeks at that) this late into the school year!

I hope you're all enjoying seeing that trusty count move into the 100s. Just think, in only 99 more days, we'll reach the 100-Day mark! Wow.. OK, that does seem quite far away now. Let's keep enjoying the countdown and our surroundings!

Good evening everyone, just a quick hello. I need to get dinner started as soon as I finish my cup of coffee, I'm running behind schedule here.
My husband and I took Molly in for her follow up visit at the animal hospital. It wasn't good news. We were told that the mass is large. In fact, the doctor that performed the biopsy said it was one of the largest he's seen in a small dog. It is highly invasive and difficult to remove. There is no guarantee that a surgical excision would be successful and there is no guarantee she would even survive the surgery itself. So we have a lot to think about. We have another appointment tomorrow with the doctor that would perform the surgery, if we choose to do it. I'm just trying to get as much information as I can so that I know we're making the right decision, whatever that ends up being.
I'm sorry to talk about something sad on the countdown, just wanted to keep you all posted.
