Keeping you all in my prayers, especially during all of the severe weather again lately.

We had some strong storms yesterday morning, very high winds, heavy rain and hail. I did notice that two of the weather apps that I have listed possible tornadoes. I had never seen that before.
The only real damage here were lots of tree branches down, thank God.

now that all those storms are past it is a hot and muggy morning, already have 28c (82f) with the humidity and it is only 6:30 in the am.

Working today then taking daughter out for driving lessons this evening.

Good morning everyone!
Not too much going on here today. I'm going to the supermarket to pick up a few things as soon as I finish my cup of coffee. Other than that I'll be working on some chores around the house. We are expecting scattered thunderstorms here as well, it's a good day to stay in and do some deep cleaning. That's about it for me. I hope everyone is well, stays safe and has a nice day!

Continuing on through the week, we find ourselves moving perilously close to a Major Milestone, the one which will see us move fully into the second half of our journey.

The daily numbers:
Days to the Season: 143
Days to Christmas Day: 185

And now drawing nigh to June 26 and the half-way marker to Christmas Day 2015, now UNDER half a week off.


I hesitate to talk about the weather as nothing has changed for quite some time now.
Relentlessly high temps and humidity, with the thermometer reaching close to 100 each day.
This morning has started off at 79 muggy degrees here in the sweltering capital city.

Good evening, MMC.

I have been watching the news all night because there has been some serious weather out this way. Two confirmed tornadoes touched down, not near where I live, but one was just down the road a bit from the store. There are reports of lots of damaged/destroyed houses. Right now the storms are located where my brother works and where a lot of family live. It is going to be a long night/morning.

Good evening,

Tomorrow will be an interesting day, they are predicting some serious weather conditions including severe thunderstorms, and possible tornadoes. We will be trying to keep the boys away from the TV and radio, they will freak out if they hear "possible tornadoes." Even though they were quite young in 2011 when the tornado came through town, they both remember it quite well, along with a lot of other kids in town. It may be a stressful day if any of these things look like they may happen.

I sure hope the weather doesn't develop to be as severe as predicted. Xmas, whenever I hear of severe weather out west where you are I think of you and your boys. I hope the stormy stuff just fizzles out.

Thanks snowflake! We have a dreary day so far ~ we had a little rain this morning, but just enough to make everything wet. They are saying the sun is coming back this afternoon! I hope so cuz I have laundry to hang on the line! :wink: It's muggy - or "It's thick out there" is what my boss just said! cheesy Hope you have a beautiful day too!!

We could get some severe storms where we are later in the afternoon and evening, but the threat is greater out where xmas365 is.

Just plowing through this week at work looking forward to next week, which will be a short week for me heading into the July Fourth weekend. Hooray! I'll be taking a couple days off to attend to appointments, get a couple things done, and just bum around the house watching Fourth of July-themed movies.

Good Morning, MMC!!!! Guess what? It's hot!!!! LOL!!! They say it's going to cool down into the lower 60's tonight though and that we are looking at below normal temps by the weekend!!! WooHoo!!!! Not a whole lot planned here today. Just need to get some things done around the apartment when I get home. Right now, I'm out running some errands. Mom is still pretty shaky today hopefully she will improve as the day goes on. If not, we may have to cancel her test for tomorrow morning. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
