Christmas Countdown - 2015

Good Morning!
Happy Pine's Day!
The weather is going to be much nicer today, sunny with temperatures in the lower 80's. I'm going to take a ride to Target this morning to pick up a few things. Back home afterward to work on daily chores. And my mother is going to stop by to visit later this afternoon so I'm looking forward to that.
I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!

Good afternoon!
First day of the Summer vacation is here
So good to not have to wake up to the alarm at 6:30 AM

Wish the weather would have been better though

Today i's 6 months to Christmas Eve ♥
I will definitely watch a Christmas movie tonight!

The slugs are either coming in the track of the patio doors, or underneath the carpet in that tiny gap between the carpet/patio doors. The thing is, the patio doors I'm talking about are in our bedroom...double EEK! I kid you not, I had nightmares all night.

That sounds awful Snowflake with those slugs! Ugh...I hope they fix it soon!

Good Morning, Folks.

Wow.
Already to mid-week.
Already to another open house at our resort of choice, the Shispering Pines.

But, as always, there are the figures:
Days to the Season: 142
Days to Christmas Day: 184

And those same figures reveal to us that as of THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW, we will be at the half-way point to Christmas Day 2015, incredible though that may be to believe.

Alright Mother Nature. Enough is enough.
It seems like we have already had enough heat and humidity for a full Summer.
How about backing off for a bit?
(Or is it too risky to chide Mother Nature?)
Right now, we record 77 degrees here in our little part of MMC.

Have a Wonderful Wednesday, Guys.
And Quite a Quintessential Quest to the 'Pines this evening for lots of fine food and entertainment, Carl style!

Good morning! We had a terrible storm and lost power for about 5 hours and we had a tree fall across our driveway so my hubby is going to cut it up this morning. Hope you all have a great day. Can you believe 6 months from today....will be Christmas Eve! I think I will be listening to some Christmas music today!

They did come and spray last night, fingers crossed they are in fact coming in through the patio doors and will be deterred!

Good Morning, MMC!!! It's a beautiful morning here with a temp of 62 and no humidity!! We are still going to hit the mid 80's later but at least it's nice out now. We are already at the hospital for moms test. Darn people getting me out of bed early. LOL!! After we are done here, I just have a few more errands to run. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!
