Thank you! Mine is! But it's not supposed to rain today & it's looking like it could rain!!! Hope it blows over!!!

Had to run to the store at lunch b/c I forgot to pick up lemons for lemonade shake-up tonight....they are $1.50 a piece. HOLY COW!!! We need to grow a lemon tree!!! But I paid it! Gotta have that shake-up for tonight & the weekend. LOL! cheesy

Good morning MMC! Happy Hump/Pines Day!!! Hope you are all having a great day so far!

Last night I think our whole neighborhood was outside, trimming, pulling weeds, mulching - making our homes look nice for the festival! :smile: By the time my hubby got home from work I had a trash can full of weeds & trimmings for him to take away! He was thrilled. cheesy We were talking to our back yard neighbor around 10:00 last night when they started fogging for bugs at the fest! It was starting to stink so bad, we went inside! I don't like to breath that stuff in! Blah! But Jim commented that the best part about that is the wind was blowing our way so hopefully it got rid of some bugs/mosquitos at our house too! They will fog again tomorrow night!

The festivities kick off tonight with a pre-party at our house! We have invited some friends & neighbors over. It's supposed to be a nice night, though it could get cool later. Jim is having the propane tank filled today so we can fire up the patio heater if needed! Tomorrow night the pre-party is at our back yard neighbors....then Friday the festival actually begins! Such a fun week!!

Just got my hair cut for the vacation. A co-worker's wife is a hair stylist, so we all feel compelled to go to her for haircuts. Actually, they're old family friends, too.

But I miss the barber shop! I feel funny going to the beauty parlor for a haircut. At least she stopped putting those hair pins in while she cuts. I had to put my foot down about that! :!:

Bah ha ha ~ oh Brad! My hubby always use to go to my sisters beauty parlor when he would run the route in that area, but now that he has his own route in another town, he has started going to a barber shop in that town now. I think he's ok with that! cheesy

WOO HOO for one more "to do" thing marked off the list before vaca!!

Thanks snowflake! We do need to dry out. But we don't need to go into a really dry spell either! HA! Never happy!

My day is going really well! I'm excited for tonight, so I'm ready to get outa here! (work) lol!

Eh, the haircut's pretty good. I'm not one to put much effort into my hair, just ask Nancy. :wink:

I finally have a timer on the pool, and a timer on the garden sprinkler. This afternoon, I'm wiring in a photocell on the outside lights. That should do it!
