Good evening, everyone!
Happy Milestone Friday! As if we needed yet another reason to celebrate the final weekend of June, Christmas Day will officially be less than halfway as of tomorrow. So exciting! To commemorate the milestone, I am currently listening to Kringle Radio. Sometimes when I cannot choose a song to select, I just let it do it for me. I must admit, it was also great to celebrate listening to "Snow Globe" by Matt Wertz a few minutes ago, too!
I've made it through my first week back at Passport Canada, and I am already counting down the days until I can teach again! I like the money and the people, but I prefer to be on my feet and moving all day rather than doing the same tasks throughout the day. Ah well!
As for this weekend, Kim is in Montreal with a few of her friends. It should be a really fun girls weekend for her. They don't get to see each other a whole lot, so I hope she enjoys herself. She deserves it!
Tomorrow morning, I have another race to run. This time, I am going with a couple friends I used to run with back in high school... more than a decade ago! We'll see how it goes. I'm not too confident. My calf feels healed from its previous Grade 2 strain, but I know it will just be re-injured if I push it too hard. It is going to be difficult not to do so... the race has a bunch of very steep hills, quarries, cliffs, bogs, etc. It should be interesting... Wish me luck!
Well, I hope you all have been enjoying your Milestone Friday! I am currently doing so while watching the NHL Entry Draft. Crazy to see that the Kings traded for Milan Lucic earlier! That certainly excited me. Similarly, I hope there has been plenty excitement in your day. Have a great Friday evening, everyone! I will do my best to come on sometime this weekend!
