Good evening, MMC! It's good to back! We're back home after a fabulous vacation. We had beautiful weather and such a wonderful time.

My sister and her boyfriend went along - he proposed while there, so now I can call him her fiancé! The kids have called him their Uncle for a long time, so we're very excited!

We ran in to so horrible weather in Virginia around 10:00 pm last night on our way home, so we ended up having to get a hotel, stayed the night, and got up first thing this morning, and headed back out.

We came home to a flooded garden and yard - we've had a lot of rain this week - our garden is really taken a beating this year - it's the second time our crick has flooded. More rain and calls for flooding tomorrow. I'm just glad more damage hasn't been done.

Hope all is well with you all! I've been thinking of each of you!

Hope you all enjoy your Friday evening!

********** MILESTONE DAY **********

Good Morning, Everybody.

Well, there it is and there you have it.
HALF WAY BACK TO CHRISTMAS AS OF TODAY!!

Days to the Season: 140
Days to Christmas Day: 182

(Wow, that first half sure went by fast.
And you just know the second half will pass even faster!)

Plenty of rain late yesterday after another warm afternoon.
Quite damp now with still hot temps predicted for today, then a respite of sorts for the weekend.
Currently we see 78.6 degrees on our digital back door thermometer here in the capital city.

Have a Fabulous Friday, Friends.
And revel in the fact that it is Weekend Eve once again!

Did you say "Milestone," Crown?! Super happy to see that we have made it halfway through the year and are descending towards Christmas! It's all downhill from here, folks!

Good evening, everyone!

Happy Milestone Friday! As if we needed yet another reason to celebrate the final weekend of June, Christmas Day will officially be less than halfway as of tomorrow. So exciting! To commemorate the milestone, I am currently listening to Kringle Radio. Sometimes when I cannot choose a song to select, I just let it do it for me. I must admit, it was also great to celebrate listening to "Snow Globe" by Matt Wertz a few minutes ago, too!

I've made it through my first week back at Passport Canada, and I am already counting down the days until I can teach again! I like the money and the people, but I prefer to be on my feet and moving all day rather than doing the same tasks throughout the day. Ah well!

As for this weekend, Kim is in Montreal with a few of her friends. It should be a really fun girls weekend for her. They don't get to see each other a whole lot, so I hope she enjoys herself. She deserves it!

Tomorrow morning, I have another race to run. This time, I am going with a couple friends I used to run with back in high school... more than a decade ago! We'll see how it goes. I'm not too confident. My calf feels healed from its previous Grade 2 strain, but I know it will just be re-injured if I push it too hard. It is going to be difficult not to do so... the race has a bunch of very steep hills, quarries, cliffs, bogs, etc. It should be interesting... Wish me luck!

Well, I hope you all have been enjoying your Milestone Friday! I am currently doing so while watching the NHL Entry Draft. Crazy to see that the Kings traded for Milan Lucic earlier! That certainly excited me. Similarly, I hope there has been plenty excitement in your day. Have a great Friday evening, everyone! I will do my best to come on sometime this weekend!

Good morning everyone!
Happy Milestone Day! I am so thankful for this countdown thread and for my Christmas friends. It really made me happy this morning to see that we are half way there.
I'm a bit headachey this morning so I'm moving kind of slow today. Thankfully there isn't too much going on. I have a couple of quick errands to run, back home afterward to work on the laundry. I would also like to clean my bedroom closet out, if I feel up to it. I've been cleaning every nook and cranny of this house. This morning my husband asked me if I was pregnant, he said I'm "nesting". Lol. I don't know, it's keeping me busy. I've been in a funk ever since I lost Molly. Speaking of Molly, we still didn't get her ashes back. It's been over two weeks so it should be any day now. I was told the private cremations take a bit longer. My husband has also been going back and forth with the animal hospital, we ended up with a bill for a few thousand dollars. We would like them to adjust it considering the circumstances. Hopefully they'll do the right thing.
Anyway, that's about it for me. I hope everyone is well and has a nice day!

I hope your headaches went away quickly today.
