Just a "quick" update on Gracie. She has to have an ultrasound done Wednesday morning at 10:45. The protein in her urine test came back worse than the original test. I was shocked b/c she has been acting like her normal crazy Grace. Wasn't expecting that! I love our vet ~ she is very, very good -but I wasn't impressed that nobody from their office called us with that news since Friday. I had to call there today & then the secretary finally called me back to let me know! Normally our vet or her tech calls with updates. When I went to pick up more food for Gracie after work the vet herself did come out & talk to me but it was just discouraging that they didn't call with that news. I had my hopes up all was well since we didn't hear from them. Anyway...that's where it stands. We have to travel just over 75 miles for this ultrasound so hopefully it shows something & something with an easy fix!!

I would be upset with the vet office, too. That is unacceptable.

Try to stay encouraged about Gracie's behavior, though. It's good that she seems to be feeling well, praying that this appointment finally gives you some answers that you need.

Thanks snowflake! I really appreciate all the wishes, hugs & prayers. It was discouraging b/c I switched vets when we got Gracie b/c this vet is really awesome! Someone dropped the ball! I am happy she is her normal self - vet says it's probably b/c of the special food & her meds - but she can't go on like that forever. So hopefully after the ultrasound things will turn out good! xx Jim was able to get the day off so I don't have to go myself! Whew!

No she can't you need answers so you can get her the treatment or meds that she needs [emoji171]

Glad that you won't be going alone, you'll have your hubby to lean on for support, and Gracie will have her Dad.

It makes no sense, we're downstairs to say safe but there is nothing that was on the TV or news about the sirens. It would help!

There is a severe thunderstorm warning going on and 60 mile an hour winds, but no word of any funnel clouds.

The tv stations are dropping the ball too! I hate that - 60 mph winds! I'm glad there are no funnel cloud reports! They are saying strong storms here later. Continued prayers! Hope it passes quickly & without incident!
