Christmas Countdown - 2015

Good morning MMC! Happy Monday. Guess what? It's dark as night, the wind majorly picked up & it looks like rain is coming any minute ~ AGAIN! My hubby just texted & said it's pouring again on his route! Ahhhhh....

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend.

We were at the lake Friday & Saturday. We had mass for Dad yesterday. The reader butchered his name (LOL - whoops) & my Mom ended up leaving right after communion b/c she wasn't feeling well. We had brunch at my sisters after, but Mom didn't come. Good news is she is feeling better. She was better by last night. There is a bug going around...hopefully she just had a touch of that & no one else gets it!

Here comes the rain....

Thanks Brad! I'll check on Mom after work. I tried calling her this morning & she wasn't home, so hopefully that means she felt good enough to go to the Y! Stay dry!!

Good Afternoon, MMC!!!!! It's another rainy day here in central Indy with a high in the mid 80's projected. It's like a monsoon out there right now though. Mom had a follow up with her neurologist this morning. Not only does she have one type of sleep apnea, she has two types. So she has to do another sleep study to try a more advanced machine. The one they tried last week during her study wasn't enough. Not much else going on today. Just hanging out at my aunts trying to get a few things done online. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!

50,000 without power in central Indy right now from the first wave of storms and unforuantely, my aunts house is one of them. So much for getting stuff done. Hopefully my apartment has power when I get home and the next 2 waves of storms aren't quite as bad.

It was a busy weekend here - I worked a good bit of overtime again, but was able to take the kids to the drive-in last night and we really enjoyed ourselves!

Looking forward to the weekend already! As I know it will be CIJ on QVC and I'm disappointed I'll be missing out on that, I'm only working three days this week, and we'll be taking the kids to the Yogi Bear campground in Hagerstown. It was so hot Saturday, that I found the pool needed some scrubbing. *SPLASH!* There were some pretty stubborn spots that took me most of the afternoon to clear up, but I persevered. :lol:

Yesterday I had to get up early to go to the church. It was my Sunday to cook men's breakfast. Since our normal service is at 9:30 am, we have to be done with breakfast by 8:30. It's not usually a problem, but I'm still having trouble getting back to my early morning routine after such a long vacation. I'll get there.

My brother has been cutting down some HUGE pine trees in his yard, so I helped him for a while yesterday, dragging off the sections with the tractor. Have I mentioned lately how much I hate gnats?
