[Holiday]

Hello everyone. Sweet Kimmie had to go to the vet. She somehow hurt her leg and has been limping all day.
The vet thinks it's okay but gave her pain meds and told us she can't go on walks for two weeks. Poor thing will hate it; she loves walks.
She's of course acting very pitiful and is getting extra loves.
Here she is...hurts too bad to stand up to eat.

Little stinker.

Thank you. She seems to be good now. She sure played it up for a day or two. She'd limp over to me looking pitiful and of course I'd get on the floor and snuggle with her. But when I went to get a treat she had no problem running to the kitchen!

Good morning, friends! Happy Monday! Hope all is well!

It was a busy weekend here - I worked a good bit of overtime again, but was able to take the kids to the drive-in last night and we really enjoyed ourselves!

Looking forward to the weekend already! As I know it will be CIJ on QVC and I'm disappointed I'll be missing out on that, I'm only working three days this week, and we'll be taking the kids to the Yogi Bear campground in Hagerstown. We're all very excited! We'll have wifi and cable, so I still plan on doing some tuning in and shopping! I have to get some gifts bought! [emoji4]

Basically did a quick run through of the posts tonight, I am tired, and Saturday's are usually too busy to be fun.

Battling a little cold today, so I'm going to enjoy a lazy day. Already got the ribs cooking and the house picked up, so I'm going to rest until it's time for Bambina to eat lunch.

I picked up Santa's Magic Cuckoo Clock & Puppy Love today. And then a Peanuts figurine for my desk at work.

We visited our miniature Christmas tree forest in storage today.

How fun!!! :grin:

A fun evening! We spent the evening screening 16mm films---some short subjects plus "That's Entertainment!" With popcorn! If ever there's an MMC convention, well, there are a few rarities we'd love to screen for you.

Not too much going on here this morning, I'm just relaxing and having a cup of coffee. I'm definitely going back to Hallmark today. Like I said yesterday, I didn't have a lot of time and I kind of rushed through. I also have a few coupons that I forgot to bring and they are only good for this weekend, can't let them go to waste! I may also run to Target while I'm out, I have a list of things that we need. Back home afterward to cook some sausage, fry meatballs and get a pot of sauce going. I'm making stuffed shells for dinner. That's about it for me. I hope everyone is well and has a nice day!!!

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

It was so hot Saturday, that I found the pool needed some scrubbing. *SPLASH!* There were some pretty stubborn spots that took me most of the afternoon to clear up, but I persevered. :lol:

Yesterday I had to get up early to go to the church. It was my Sunday to cook men's breakfast. Since our normal service is at 9:30 am, we have to be done with breakfast by 8:30. It's not usually a problem, but I'm still having trouble getting back to my early morning routine after such a long vacation. I'll get there.

My brother has been cutting down some HUGE pine trees in his yard, so I helped him for a while yesterday, dragging off the sections with the tractor. Have I mentioned lately how much I hate gnats?

Today we been dog keeping MaryJoe, the French bulldog of my best friend.....the poor thing is allergic to pretty much everything and has big troubles breathing!
We be been drama free tho......Spike, the male cat just hid in underneath my bed and slept and Stripey sat on higher spots where Mary couldn't t reach! So all cool!

It's hot here today too, but the humidity isn't too terrible. Trying to hold off on turning on an AC until we have to, but we'll have to pretty soon, 'cause it's pushing 90F.

My bright new idea today is to order an external drive to store all my digital audio files and photos. Currently they're scattered between what's on the computer and various backup/MP3 CDs. Once the drive comes I can compile one consolidated library/backup where all my digital audio and photos are at my fingertips. (And it will have very large Christmas folders!) Then I can digitize even more audio and store it without having to worry about maxing out the computer storage. Win!

a lovely day here, great service at church and a quiet afternoon here at home. It is smelling great with a roast slow cooking in the oven.

Got all the stuff done for my TOPS meeting tomorrow. Can you believe they made me leader of this group ?! There is such a great website now with tons of info and help for leaders, so easy to plan and do meetings.

I want to go out for a walk later when it cools off a bit. Right now with the humidity it is 31c (88f).
For now, I will wait for supper to get done and just relax.

Hope your meeting went well & the roast was yummy! Love the smell of roast cooking!

The wife and I have decided that we are not watching our regular shows tonight. Instead, Christmas Vacation is going to be on our TV!
