Last night, we had a storm that completely blew our router, so I wasn't here! We had to make a surprise trip to the store to pick up another one. Thank goodness for savings and for being able to afford it without a problem! They're expensive!

I'm starting off my day watching HSN's CIJ preview! Midnight is when CIJ begins for them. Their Today's Special is those laser lights that were on QVC's preview...so many lights!

Regardless, we have arrived at the first day of the LAST THIRD of our Season count!

Days to the Season: 122
Days to Christmas Day: 164

And as usual, I'm afraid to look ahead to the next Milestone. Too scary.
The year is slipping away fast!
Let's postpone that until at least tomorrow, OK?


Not too bad weather-wise for July here yesterday. Somewhat lower heat and humidity after a rather noisy electrical storm around 5:00 AM.
Hopefully, it will be quieter today.
Right now, our temperature recording device says it is 72 degrees in our back yard.

Good morning everyone, Happy Tuesday!
Happy Milestone Day!!!
The town finally finished paving our street, it looks beautiful. So happy that's over with. I'm heading out soon to pick up a few things at the supermarket. Other than that I'll be working on my daily chores. I also have plans to get lunch with my youngest, she gets off of work at 1:00 today. That's about it for me. I hope everyone is well and has a great day!

Just a "quick" update on Gracie. She has to have an ultrasound done Wednesday morning at 10:45. The protein in her urine test came back worse than the original test. I was shocked b/c she has been acting like her normal crazy Grace. Wasn't expecting that! I love our vet ~ she is very, very good -but I wasn't impressed that nobody from their office called us with that news since Friday. I had to call there today & then the secretary finally called me back to let me know! Normally our vet or her tech calls with updates. When I went to pick up more food for Gracie after work the vet herself did come out & talk to me but it was just discouraging that they didn't call with that news. I had my hopes up all was well since we didn't hear from them. Anyway...that's where it stands. We have to travel just over 75 miles for this ultrasound so hopefully it shows something & something with an easy fix!!
