** TRAVEL / VOLUNTEER ALERT **

The Crowns are actually off on a vacation that doesn't involve relatives or cottage rental preparations!

We are heading south to visit Hilton Head and Charleston, SC with our departure planned for early Monday morning (Aug 3) and our return set for late Saturday (Aug 8).
As such, a BIG TIME chance exists for a 6-day Countdown job Monday through Saturday mornings right here at MMC. This includes the opportunity to post the ONE HUNDRED DAY SEASON MILESTONE marker, and the first of our double-digit Season count numbers.
(And it's local so no traveling is required!)

Not much pay ($0) but lots of prestige, not to mention a nice resume listing!

I'm back--for a quick second. What a wild week it's been. Off to West Virginia to officiate a wedding! I'll be back Sunday night/Monday morning and maybe in and out until then. But...when I'm back, I have no more travel or time away planned, so I can count down the last 100 days together with you!!! Hope everyone is well!!

Ha ha ha! I think the winters would get a little long at the lake...but I agree! I could move in out there for the summer!!!
Our lake just had an algae bloom warning issued. Nobody is supposed to be in contact with the water. Boating is ok, but no swimming, skiing or jet skiing, etc is recommended. UGH! There are 28 lakes in Ohio that have this I guess. Booooo!

I should be asleep by now, but nope. I was too busy on ebay checking out Shelby Cobra 427's, 55 Chevys, and 57 Chevys, I can afford the Hot Wheels versions of them but that is it. One can dream.
Please keep LC in your thoughts and prayers, he got bit by Skittles the other night, and now has a bad infection. He is on two different antibiotics, and has his third different dr appt tomorrow. If they are not happy with the way it is progressing they are sending him to a surgeon tomorrow. The poor kid can't even walk right now because his leg is in so much pain.
I need to get some shut eye, the alarm goes off sooner than I like.

It just occurred to me that we have a snowflake22 and a SnowflakeMom, and Snowflake (who was involved with the ChristmasTalk countdown) will probably be joining us ... so when you say "Snowflake," it could get confusing! We should start using the complete names to keep all you "snowflakes" straight!

Good morning MMC! Happy, Happy Friday!! Looking forward to busting out of here at noon & getting the weekend started!
We didn't get to go out in our convertible last night. Hubby didn't get home from work til after 7. So I mowed lawn & then we finally had the casserole that I made on Tuesday. LOL! We ate on the patio. Hubby went to the new brew barn & had a couple growlers filled, so we enjoyed a mug of that on the patio too.
While I was in the shower last night Gracie got ahold of a pack of blue buffalo treats!! And of course she ate them ALL! I know there were some out of that pack, but I think there were quite a few left. I have no idea where it was or how she got it! But she sure seemed to enjoy it!! I watched her like a hawk after that, but she seems fine!!! Little booger!!!

It is a bummer. It doesn't really affect us too much b/c I haven't been in that water for YEARS! And we don't have jet ski's anymore, just a pontoon & a speed boat!
