YAY Friday!!!

It's here finally, I just have to get to 4pm and then my weekend of laundry, packing for our trip and meal planning for next week (last week before Disney), changing lines on beds and overall house cleaning. Man did I just bum myself down or what?!?!!!

What is everyone up to this weekend? Snowflake22 I'm living vicariously through your trip to your lake cabin and I want you to know I'm insanely jealous!!!

Cleaning & preparing for vacation...

Ok, that does sound waaaay better than roasting in the hot hot Florida sun to see Mickey and Friends all the while having to hear why Lizzybeth is scared to get on Tower of Terror and refuses to learn how to swim but insist that we go to the pool several times during our trip and her big sister London making fun of her and me having to listen to tweeny bop music all while spending more money than what any parent should have to pay to a mouse all in the name of family fun!!! PHEW!

Why are we going one might ask??? Because as much as we hate the hot Florida sun we LOVE Disney more. This will be my 31st time going and the girls have been going since they were babies and no matter how many options I give them for our annual big vacation they always pick Disney. Well, last year we got a break because London turned 16 and I flew her and I to Mexico for a week to celebrate her Sweet Sixteen. However, this year it's back to...you guessed it - DISNEY!

My poor young co-worker (23) just opened up her checking account to realize she only got paid for 55 hours instead of 80. She's flipping out as I don't blame her. Seems like the woman in charge of our payroll didn't get her emails about her working off campus and applying those hours to her payroll. She leaves for her vacation to Yacht Week in Greece three days after I leave for Disney and she was planning on converting much of her pay to Euros since over in Greece they are not having such a good time with credit cards and what not now. I feel so bad for her but I've tried to convince her that the University will right the wrong they've done and worse case scenario they'll cut her a check for the missing 25 hrs sometime next week. To add to her frustrations she keeps calling payroll and no one is answering.

I hope this situation can get resolved for her so that she can smile again cuz right now she ain't happy.

I should be asleep by now, but nope. I was too busy on ebay checking out Shelby Cobra 427's, 55 Chevys, and 57 Chevys, I can afford the Hot Wheels versions of them but that is it. One can dream.
Please keep LC in your thoughts and prayers, he got bit by Skittles the other night, and now has a bad infection. He is on two different antibiotics, and has his third different dr appt tomorrow. If they are not happy with the way it is progressing they are sending him to a surgeon tomorrow. The poor kid can't even walk right now because his leg is in so much pain.
I need to get some shut eye, the alarm goes off sooner than I like.

Oh, she was licking her chops & chewing on the bag! HA! I guess if we aren't giving her treats, she's going to get some one way or another. LOL
The casserole was ok. I think the noodles got kind of mushy after sitting in the fridge for 2 nights. But the flavor was good!

Happy Friday!! We are heading to the lake this weekend. Friends of ours (3 couples) are camping at a campground not far from our trailer, so we'll be taking the pontoon to visit them. There is a "beach party" at the pond at their campground tomorrow too w/ bands. Should be fun! That's about it for the weekend. I hope you get everything done that you need too for vacation. Whew! Have a great Friday!

I hope she can get some answers before she goes on her trip, so she doesn't wonder about it while she's away. I imagine it was quite a shock to see a number a lot lower than she was expecting.
