August. August. Really?

I wonder where the other months went! Not complaining, because I love the last few months of the year more than any other time. I'm glad it is here. I still can't believe we are so close to the 'Bers. Amazing.

Gonna be a hot one today. I've got some yard work to do and I've got a doctor appointment scheduled for Bambina. She has been running a fever and acting really clingy the past 2 days. Think it is time we see what the deal is.

He has been sleeping most of the time, so it's hard to tell. Just getting used to his new prescriptions I think.
We're praying things go well in the next week, he has a follow up then <3

Elizabeth's show was a smash! It was a musical in its entirety, and while that's not my favorite thing, seeing my Honeybee on stage IS. I was so proud of her!

Jacob's gig was cancelled due to rain. He was disappointed, but there was no way to play in that weather, and we didn't have to struggle to both of the kids on the same night.

Elizabeth's next performance is tonight, then a matinee on Sunday.

I don't really have anything going on though, so that's okay with me. I might run to the store but my main thing today is going to be finishing up my laundry. Mom is still pretty shaky today but not as bad as yesterday. So she seems to be sticking to her normal time schedule for an episode. So that's good at least. We are barely over HALF A WEEK away from the 100-day Season Window and the start of a DOUBLE DIGIT Season count! FOUR days off, now.
(There. I'll bet that did it!)


The humidity was down a bit yesterday, yielding a more comfortable day.
Hopefully, there will be a repeat for today, with the rain holding off as well.
Currently? We stand at 71 degrees here.

Thanks for ushering us into yet another month, Crown! It is nearly unbelievable to witness the calendar flip to August. And, of course, not to mention hat here are only four more days to cross off our calendars before we hit yet another milestone! Wednesday and Thursday are going bring some celebrations in our parts!

Good afternoon, everyone!

The first weekend of August has arrived. Normally, I would be excited about having a long weekend, but the province of Quebec does not observe Civic weekend like the rest of Canada. It is quite unfortunate.

Kim and I have a bunch of errands to run today. I have to find a suit for my friend's wedding in a few weeks (I am a groomsman). Hopefully I can find a nice sale. Thankfully, it is not an overly hot day, so it should make for some easy travels.
