Christmas Countdown - 2015

Good Morning, MMC!!!!! It's going to be another warm day here with a high of 86. Those 70's I was looking forward to later this week are slowly disappearing off of the forecast though. Boo!!! At least it's nice out right now with a temp of 71 degree's. Not to much going on today. Mom has a doctor's appointment here in about an hour and I have some laundry to do this afternoon. Nothing to exciting. Hopefully I can get back here to catch up later if my connection holds. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!

yea I know, looks like the ole temperature creep is affecting our temperature predictions as well. earlier in the week, they had several days listed with High's in the mid 70's. I was starting to look at the calendar and think to myself; come on Fall.....

Heater on in August? That would end up on the news here in Texas if someone had to turn on the heat! I must say I am a bit jealous! My Christmas music must not be loud enough - I need to buy better speakers.

I will be thinking of you all when you visit your mom on your parent's anniversary. I hope you all can share some good memories together.

Ha-ha...I've been driving the wife nuts for the past two weeks or so, in just the opposite way. I've been cranking the AC down to the point where the windows on the house are condensing. I have the ceiling fan set on high and blowing on me all night long. I've been getting so hot, (especially at night) where I'm peeling blankets and apparel....The wife is beside herself thinking that I must be going thru male menopause or something; with these hot flashes at night. Is that such a thing, male menopause????

Ha ha! We woke up the other morning at the lake (after having turned the AC down a couple times over night) to condensation on all the windows. Whoops!

I started working out again a couple of days ago and I'm feeling it, I'm so sore. I really need to stick with it so I hope I get use to it soon. Not too much going on here today, typical day of errands and chores. I hope everyone is well and has a great day!

Hope you feel better soon HMG!! I actually started back to the gym yesterday. I am still having issues with my knee so I could only do the elliptical machine and a little walk but feels good to be back. Have a great day!

Good Morning MMC !

Long weekend is over, camping gear put away, time to head back to work again. Only 9 days and I leave for a week at my sisters in Vermont. I go to pick up my mom who has been there for 6 weeks.
A nice cooler morning here at only 14c (57f) supposed to rain again this afternoon.
Election time here in Canada, the longest in history. 11 weeks of mud slinging, signs, posts on FB etc etc. Not my favorite time even though necessary. Maybe I should run for Prime Minister, the job comes with a really nice house.

Andre, my boxer has been having issues with his belly and vomiting a few times yesterday and once today. I boiled him some chicken and rice today and so far he has kept it down. He is acting fine so not sure what the issue is??

Gracie seems fine 'n dandy! She was trying her best to get the smoked turkey I was using to make a sandwich at lunch. LOL! And she stole 2 clothes pins right out of the bag while I was trying to hang clothes on the line. She's a fast little stinker!
