It used to be much worse when he'd jump onto my back from the window ledge, thankfully he can't make that leap anymore. He can still make it onto our bed from the floor, but that impact isn't as painful as the other. Sometimes he'll tug at the covers on the bed, but I'm not using covers this time of year - too hot. I'm usually up by 5:00 so his clock was ticking although my husband had already given him fresh water and a hearty rub, he wanted us both up. Now I know why, he's taken over our bed.Good morning AMD!
One of my cats wakes me every morning, usually around 5:00am. She's a little stinker. Wish I could break the habit.
Have a relaxing and Happy Sunday!

Good morning, friends!
Happy Sunday~
What are your plans for the day?
We plan to get a few projects done around the house. And I need to do a few loads of laundry. Other than that, just relaxing.
Wishing you a blessed and beautiful day with your loved ones!

Bubba is a cutie!!That dog reminds me of my grandpuppy, Bubba. He's a British Bulldog/Boxer mix.![]()
You got me giggling! I have this image of cats literally jumping up and down on your bed the way you see when people jump on a trampoline. Weee! I know what you mean though! Cats can be so silly! =)I've been woken up by jumping cats as well, not so pleasant! They are too funny.
I had an eventful night last night. My elderly dog, Meca, was refusing to eat yesterday. Occasionally she will not eat breakfast but will finally eat by dinner time. Dinner time rolled around and she refused that too. She is unable to get off and on our bed on her own, we always have to help her off and on. When we went to bed last night Meca was getting very restless from not feeling well and I was afraid she would fall off the bed, also afraid she was going to throw up in our bed because she was making gagging noises. So I slept on the floor with her along with my other 2 dogs and 2 cats! They all joined me, it was a site! I just comforted her until she fell asleep and I was surprised I slept for several hours on a hard floor! I kept waking up with her to make sure she was comfortable and could get back to sleep. The good news is, she was drinking water this morning, eating and back to her old self!!!
The things we do for our babies! It's all worth it!!!
I hope you all have a Merry Day!

It puts us in such a panic, doesn't it? The worse experience for us with after O'Malley's bad catnip experience - he was one tripping cat, he never was quite his old self again after that, he's still spooked by shadows. At that time, my husband and I took turns staying with him and speaking softly reminding him that we were there as he caved under the loveseat and the guest bed for a few days. The Vet said they could give him a tranquilizer if it continued, but my husband didn't want to give him more drugs on top of the catnip if he didn't need it. It took him 3 days before he would come out of hiding for several hours at a time. I set up a spot on the sofa at night for myself, but I've never slept on the floor with him. He's very possessive of his space and he owns the carpet so I can't sleep there. Glad your baby is okay.
Gonne hit the shower and get out and about; it's a beautiful sunny day and I don't think I should spend it indoors.
Might go to the community picnic for Seapie and baked beans tonight, haven't made up my mind yet.
Enjoy yourselves my merry chums! Remember to stretch your legs and take a look around at some of the other merry threads on these festive pages!!!
