So true!!YES!!!!!!! This morning's posts are getting me SO EXCITED!!!! I can't wait!!! This is the hardest time of year--you want fall to come quickly but you don't want it to pass quickly! Enjoying every second!
Good Morning MMC !
two more days of work and then vacation time ! Had a great time with friends last night just visiting and talking. Was supposed to be a picnic but got rained out, but it was fun anyway.
Got a few things to do yet before leaving, always have to leave the house clean of course.
Have a fantastic day everyone !
I can't wait for fall scents! Candles seem to be so strong these days-I'm looking into these "simmer pots" you see on Pinterest where you throw in natural ingredients like cranberries and cinnamon and oranges and simmer it to make your home smell like Christmas! I'll keep everyone updated on how it goes!
Good morning, Christmas friends! I can't believe this week, we'll be halfway through August already! WOW! September 1 is really the start of fall for me, but as my mom says, August is the first of the longer named months, meaning we're close. All the colder months have longer names--have you noticed that? You can thank my mom for the tip if you haven't!
Today's a simple day-work, home, working out, and writing a letter to a friend. A good day! Looking forward to it. And it's already Tuesday!!! We're one day a way from the Pines and the halfway point of the week! Let's have a great day!
Thanks, friend!Good morning Snowflake!
Happy Tuesday!
Wishing you a blessed day as well!
Hugs and prayers ~

Thank you, Crown!Good Morning, Folks.
We march onward. Every onward.
Toward that place.
A destination that looms ahead, growing larger by the day.
Let's check our progress, shall we?
Days to the Season: 94
Days to Christmas Day: 136
And a quick perusal of our Countdown chart reveals that we have now passed inside the HALF A WEEK MARK to our next Milestone, the 3/4 point to the start of the Season.
That's right -- just THREE days away!
Rather nice here, yesterday.
The temp and humidity were down and only the briefest sprinkle of rain passed by to mar perfection.
Today should be similar and it has begun at 77 degrees.
Have a Terrific Tuesday, Friends!
Enjoy this day-before-'Pines Day.

Monday's can be brutal but I hope everyone's week has gotten off to a great start.
Awe - I hope the bird is ok! Have a great day AMD!Wonder if the blasting the next block over has anything to do with the on again off again cable service I'm getting and not getting tonight - UGGH!
I keep thinking my d-link is acting up again, but my husband checked with a neighbor yesterday and she's having trouble too. There was a truck doing work here last Friday, but they didn't seem to fix anything. I've been trying to play "catch up", but decided to travel to a few threads to see what's happening before the internet connection goes kerplunk again.
First day back to work was a bit long. I helped out at a golf tournament for charity for the morning so it was an easy way to slip back into work mode by the afternoon. I got all worried about a raven that was hopping around and couldn't fly. He had a grape in his beak and was heading over to some tall grass by the brush. Wonder if a golf ball hit him? I'm guessing I'm not supposed to feed birds people food, but he was trying so hard to stash some goodies. I watched as he dug up grass, I think he was using the dibbits to cover some grapes so I thought, hey why not give him some rainbow fish crackers. So I did. Now I'm wondering if he's going to make it through the night. Not sure how badly he was hurt, seemed like he had some brown goo on his right wing, but maybe it was a bald spot if he lost some feathers in a battle. Not much I could do; that's how nature works sometimes. If he was living near the creek by my place, I probably would have helped him make a nest or introduce him to the skunk so they could share some earthworms and bugs together.
What does that have to do with Christmas? A friend who was attending the same hole in one that I was stationed at told me there was a story called Embers of the Raven - A Christmas Story - so naturally my thoughts turned to my merry chums once again. Stay Jolly!
Sweet pic! Happy Tuesday SnowflakeMom!Hope you are all having a nice evening! Thinking of you all and keeping you in my View attachment 11121 prayers!
Maybe we should make a date to meet there!
My friend says they have sleigh rides in the wintertime ... Her family has a weekend up there every year during the Christmas season. I envy that!
