Good Morning! Oh my the temperature this morning sure felt so very fine to me; a nice 63 degrees, clear, the stars and moon was still out about yet. It's Wednesday and that is always such a nice point in the work week because you know it's all downhill from here. Just popping in to say Hi and to wish you all a wonderful day!

Oh, how nice it looks on the calendar with the ber's fast approaching....

Boy, 63° would be great! It was 79° at daylight, which was pretty nice!

I was putting away some stuff in my attic yesterday and ran across a box full of Christmas magazines that are over 20 years old. Score!

Score is right! I love finding old Christmas stuff like that!

Happy Pine's Day!
I don't have a lot of time this morning, my mother is coming over to visit. I want to run to the supermarket for a few things before she gets here, I never made it there yesterday.
Maggie's cough wasn't as bad last night. It wasn't great but better than the night before. Still having a hard time getting her to take her medicine. She use to gobble up the pill pockets but she's kind of over them. We had to ring the doorbell again this morning to make her nervous and then she ate them, lol.
I've got to run, I'll be back later to catch up here.

Lulu is bad about taking the pill pocket in her mouth, separating the pill from it, then swallowing the pill pocket and spitting out the pill. Boy, that's frustrating!

Good Wednesday morning, my Christmas friends!

Oh my goodness. Elizabeth has learned to bake bread FROM SCRATCH. She got a sample of "starter" from a cousin. This starter has to be maintained (fed, as she calls it) weekly, and can be from a very old original mixing. She's been working with my mom (who just learned, too), and yesterday she baked three loaves of hot, fresh, steamy sourdough bread. The house smelled wonderful! And she promises to bake bread every week! Yippee!!

Ok, that's the best news I've gotten all week.

Oh yum! You will have the best smelling house in town!! Is this like the amish bread where you let it sit out on the counter & add to it for something like 10 days? I have a starter in my freezer, but it's not sourdough, it's a friendship bread. Mmmm Have a great day Brad. Enjoy that bread!
