Hi everyone...wow, things look quite different since my last visit!
We've had a bit of a roller coaster summer that has kept me away due to family needs.
I hope to catch up here as much as I can.

This is seriously the most supportive group. I love coming here for encouragement and fun celebrating Christmas! I hope Carl has a hump filled with apple cider--I'm ready for FALL drinks!! And I hope he has LASERS, because what Christmas celebration in these modern times would be complete without them!

Your going to have to do better than that, I will have 7-8 tons in pounds by mid-November. I carry a bottle of Aleve with me at all times in November and December.

Good evening,
There must be a Christmas bug going around, I heard someone jiggling their keys and all I could think of was of some jingle bells. I was humming and singing Christmas songs to myself all day, and I went to check if any Christmas themed magazines were in yet. (No luck, they usually start popping in by the end of July, a little late this year I guess)
A slow day because of the rainy day, I really got a ton of stuff accomplished, That is so important with me going to be away for a week next week.
Day off tomorrow, I am hoping to go see Vacation, but it looks like those plans are not coagulating well tonight. Can't resist seeing the Griswold's in another movie.

Good Morning! Oh my the temperature this morning sure felt so very fine to me; a nice 63 degrees, clear, the stars and moon was still out about yet. Good morning Christmas friends, and Happy Pines Day! Can't wait to celebrate the (almost) halfway mark through August with you all tonight. It's going to be a great end to the week! Lots to do, but I've been productive the first half of the week and can't wait to see what the next few days bring!!

Question: is the thread for the Christmas commercials up yet somewhere in the forums? I remember last year a Christmas commercial forum, and with someone mentioning the Hallmark Countdown to Christmas commercial, it got me wondering if it's time to start that!

Good morning all.
Made it up and out of bed this morning to get my workout in. The heat yesterday was bad, i saw a few ppl passing out due to the heat and dehydration. Today is a no park day. I have an afternoon tea reserved for my youngest and i and the rest of the day will be spent around the pool and relaxing.

Happy Pine's Day!
I don't have a lot of time this morning, my mother is coming over to visit. I want to run to the supermarket for a few things before she gets here, I never made it there yesterday.
Maggie's cough wasn't as bad last night. It wasn't great but better than the night before. Still having a hard time getting her to take her medicine. She use to gobble up the pill pockets but she's kind of over them. We had to ring the doorbell again this morning to make her nervous and then she ate them, lol.
I've got to run, I'll be back later to catch up here.

Good morning MMC! Happy Hump/Pines/WednesDAY!!
I didn't get any of our tomatoes or corn done last night. I guess tonight I better get busy!!! Gracie goes to the groomer after work & I'll run to the store while she is there & get everything I need! Hubby wants me to make more peach & pineapple salsa's! I guess I'll make juice out of the rest of the maters - I can always turn that into spaghetti &/or pizza sauce.

Good evening, Holiday! Happy Pines Day! What recipe do you use for your peach salsa? It sounds delicious! Ill be having lots of tomatoes soon, so that could be something I could make with mine too! We made regular salsa and spaghetti sauce last year too. Hope you're having a great day!
