Christmas Countdown - 2015

Good Morning, MMC!!!! It's going to be a little bit warmer today with a high of 82 degree's. Right now it's a beautiful 61 out there though. I love it. More errands to run today. I need to work on a grocery list real quick and then head there since I'm out of milk, bread, and down to my last 2 eggs. I also need to run to target too to pick up mom's meds. I wish I could get them so that they were all up at the same time but it seems like twice a month is the best I can do. Then it will be back home to see what kind of trouble I can get myself into. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!

Ordinarily I'd look forward to Friday, but I've been told to expect weekend work. Bleh! I want the time to work on Christmas projects! This year's YuleTube is under way, and I want to work on some stuff for Kringle Radio ... get the card and gift and shopping lists going ... and important stuff like that!

Hi ya Sugar! How have you been, long time no talkie.... I do believe that everyone here is doing well, as far as I can tell that is. I have been on a constant "hyper work mode" at either the office or at home for the past 3 months or so. Been renovating the basement so that it can be like a studio apartment for my grandfather; which he will be moving in with us on September 28th. PLus I have gutted and renovated (2) bathrooms and renovated the kids bedrooms. Now I am also working outside the house, clearing brush, trees, stickers, poisonous plants, etc...from the property. Doing this to push the growth back because of the deer, deer ticks, etc...! Trying to get it back as far from the house as possible; clearing about an acre and a half. So busy, busy, busy! Hope all is well with you and your family~

I hope you are enjoying your busy-ness (and are taking care of your health, too)!
I thought of you last night cuz I had a 14-hour day.

I say we play hooky and go get into some fun with our girls!

She had a rough night last night. When I got home from work, she was shaking and just wanted to be left alone. She hadn't eaten all day. And I needed her to take her antibiotics. I was able (after awhile of trying) to get her to lick some peanut butter off of a spoon, and slipped her pill in there. Lucky for me, it's not too big, and she got that down.
This morning, she finally ate a bit. And just wanted to be near me, she'd follow me wherever I went, and curl up.
Hopefully today is better for her. Thanks for asking.

How is Meca?

The best thing about the fall for me is that I get to close the pool down and stop messing with it until next May!!!

It's an uphill battle here in the southeast, too. And the kids only got in a couple times this summer. Why am I working so hard for this pool?!? LOL

She came upstairs with me and just slept wherever I went. So it's kind of hard to say, but she's not longer shaking and she did eat a little bit for me. So I'm taking those as good signs. Thank you for asking.

I'm glad to hear the shaking stopped and she ate a little bit. Continued prayers for your baby girl.
Maggie is hanging in there. I couldn't get her to take all of her cough suppressant this morning. I cut the pill in half and put it in to two pill pockets but she only ate one. It's getting more and more difficult. I'll have to talk to the specialist about it tomorrow. She's an incredibly picky eater, I'm running out of ideas.

I used to do hot dogs, but Har got sick of them fast. And she never liked pill pockets, ugh.

My husband and I are going to Jones Beach tonight to see Van Halen. My BIL & SIL are going as well. We'll be tailgating so I need to head out soon to pick up a few things. The weather is perfect today and it's going to be a beautiful night so it should be a lot of fun. I haven't seen Van Halen since the 80's!
