Yes, I'm awfully tired. I pretty much hit the wall at the end of today. Tomorrow is supposed to be a another rough one, so I'll try to get some good sleep tonight.
At least you're busy In a good cause, in fulfilling work. Just now we're busy trying to satisfy a client's unreasonable demands. Some days it's more like jumping through hoops than doing anything really productive or fulfilling. There's little pride or satisfaction in that. Thank goodness, not all of our clients are that way.
Don't mind me being gloomy. It's just the tired talking, plus the shock our office had earlier in the week, when the husband of one of our writers collapsed and died suddenly. The writer's writing partner wrote a very moving obit; he asked me to proofread it today. It was a touching gesture for him to write it, and he did himself proud, but I felt a bit tearful afterward. I work with some very good people.
I'm just rambling. Better get to bed.
