Aww, Gracie girl! You're so much fun!
Adi is actually home for a few hours. To grab some clean clothes & tackle some work that he's been neglecting. He's just waiting to find out what's up, so he knows if he should go back down right away, or wait until tomorrow if he gets released, and settle him in, etc.
So frustrating, waiting on the doctors there. Too short staffed at the VA.
He is not in as much pain, thankfully. Uncomfortable, but managing.

I'm sure it's nice for Adi to get a little break, but ya - then he's probably wondering if he should be there. Tough decision! I'm glad to hear your FIL isn't in as much pain & hopefully he can come home tomorrow!! The waiting is so frustrating!!!! Dad went to the VA hospital here too sometimes & yes, they were always short staffed! Sad!

Adi is on his way down to spend some time at the hospital with his dad, again. I know it comforts them both. It's a tough situation all around, we are most worried about Ken. Adrian was away for 3 1/2 weeks in July on business, and he's been in Tomah with his dad most of this month so far. So, he's getting behind in work. Plus, all of the everyday work that piles up when he's traveling and at events. So, I know he's very stressed out.
Harlowe being sick, (Thank God she's better!) and me having car troubles (starting today) doesn't help either. When it rains, it pours. Bless his heart.
Yep, I can't believe the VA's aren't staffed better. So sad.
Thank God it's almost Friday!

Good afternoon MMC
Well, we made it back home safely and i am so glad that i didn't do my usual and go straight back to work the next day. I so enjoyed sleeping in a lil later than usual. I was even able to sneak in a movie this morning.
Now I'm taking London to her doctor's appt and afterward we'll grab an early dinner before i see them off to see their dad for the weekend.
I will go into the office tomorrow to get clinic prepped for my surgeon on Monday and I'm hoping i don't have to much to catch up on. Being off for 11 days you're bound to have some things waiting for you.
I also have to decide if I'm gonna pick up a baby shower gift tonight or tomorrow. I have two baby showers to attend this weekend. One from church and the other is for my cousin and that one will require me to travel to New Jersey. I'm hitching a ride up with my sister and her eldest, my niece. I'm looking forward to seeing family i don't see often due to distance.
Hope you all are looking forward to the weekend. Any plans?

You guys have had a crazy week! You are right, it does seem like when it rains it pours! (both literally & figuratively this year!) I hope your FIL has a speedy recovery now & things calm down & get back to normal for all of you! Prayers! We don't have a lot of plans this weekend. My hubby is making Winners Wings (delicious) & corn on the cob from his cousins corn patch at our marina at the lake on Saturday. People will bring snacks, side dishes. Should be fun. Sunday our friend is playing (guitar/singing) on the other side of the lake so if it's nice we'll take our pontoon over to listen to him! That's about it!
