Good evening, friends! Just realized the last time I've really checked in was Thursday morning. Since then, I've worked a 12 hour shift everyday. Today I actually worked 13.5 hours. It looks like I'll probably be working at least 12 hours again tomorrow. It's supposed to be my day off, but I'll be staying until at least 11 am. I wanted to at least stop in and say hi and say I'm thinking of you all!

The car appointment didn't go so well. It is somewhat what I expected, the vtec solenoid oil pressure switch. (I googled the alert) But of course you can only use an Acura part, and we don't have an Acura dealership in town, and no one can order the part until Monday, so it wouldn't get to us until Tuesday evening or Wednesday, so I wouldn't get my car back until Wednesday or Thursday. Of course it's extra inconvenient right now with Adrian traveling back-and-forth to Tomah. Hopefully friends can give me a lift as needed, if not I guess I will just take a cab.

Dinner was great, thank you. But I have to admit I'm kind of getting tired of grilling. I'm ready for cozy Fall comfort foods like soups, stews, casseroles, etc!

Yes, bring on the comfort foods. I just had tomato Parmesan bisque & grilled cheese the other day, and it hit the spot.

Hey everybody!
Dang, it's been a while since I have been here. The first week of school was smooth, but busy. Week 2 doesn't look to offer much of a slow down. That's ok, I'm just waiting for the last full week of August to get here so we can get to the "Ber" months. It's coming, y'all, it coming!!!!!!!
