Some good news- my FIL was released from the hospital yesterday evening. We're praying that he has a smooth transition. Thank you again for your prayers.
And I got my car back!
Adrian was able to get a tip from an Acura dealer on where we could actually get the part locally. After many hoops, he got one, dropped it off to our guys, and we had an appointment scheduled for today. But, they had a cancellation yesterday and were able to fit my car in, we got a call last night that it was finished and that there was a cashier there until 10 o'clock if we wanted to pick it up. Thank God!
Things are looking up. (Knocking on wood!)

Back to work this morning for my first full week since going out on vacation two weeks ago and I'm trying to be okay with it, lol.
Snowflake, such good news regarding your FIL, i truly hope that's the last time he sees the hospital for a while. Good news about your car too. Things are starting off good for you this week, let's pray it stays that way.

Our next Milestone, as you must know by now, is just around the corner.
** And I do mean JUST around the corner. **
TOMORROW, in fact.
At which point we will enter the FINAL THIRD our voyage back to Christmas!
The new week numbers:
Days to the Season: 81
Days to Christmas Day: 123
(Hey! I'm feeling excited about the new week. Even if it is Monday!)
A nice decent day here yesterday, with the temps and humidity not bad for August in the South.
This should continue for the next two days with perhaps a slightly increased chance of rain.
Today has commenced at 74 degrees here in our part of the MMC Nation.
