We just finished watching Nine Live of Christmas. I recorded it last year but never got around to watching it. Thought it would be nice to watch a Christmas film with mum as it's not something we get to do.

A very merry Monday to everyone! It is afternoon here already and I should get busy preparing the classes I have to teach tomorrow. But I couldn't do it before smelling just a bit of Christmas spirit on here.

Glad that you had a nice weather weekend!Good morning MMC! I'm finally caught up! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Hard to believe it's Monday already again! We had such a nice weather weekend, despite the rain last night. At least it held off until then! We just hung out at the lake all weekend. Hubby made wings, turkey ribs & corn on the cob Saturday night. Everybody brought a side dish or dessert. Everything was delicious! Today we are getting a new roof on our trailer at the lake. I didn't realize that was going to happen this year, but when I got out there on Friday he had the shingles under our awning. I guess we're getting a new roof. LOL!

Good Morning ... Well we have been trying to sell our house for a long while now and its seems its finally going to happen. The contract to purchase our house has been signed and we negotiated and agreed on a purchase price on our next house. Those contacts should be signed tomorrow and it looks like we will be moving mid Oct. The down side is that we will not be able to decorate much for halloween but I do plan on decorating big for Thanksgiving and even bigger for Christmas. The new house has an awesome porch and roof line that is perfect for decorating. We bought a bunch of the C7 bulb light sets last year after Christmas and I can not wait until we can decorate that roof line with them. Another bright side is that during the next month we will be going through everything, purging and reorganizing so that will make it easier to find all the holiday decorations
Well I guess its a good thing I am behind in my Christmas gift shopping this year. That will be less stuff to move LOL. Well I gotta get ready to head out in a bit. Hubby is playing softball this morning. Have a great day!

I haven't been here since Thursday...I was having withdrawals!
My brother had surgery to remove his gall bladder on Friday. Normally it's a routine surgery, but since he has one of my kidneys, and it's in the front instead of the back, the surgery took longer than expected. We were at the hospital all day, but everything went fine. He came home Saturday morning, and even went by his shop for a little while. LOL
I worked all day yesterday on my part-time business, and the heat almost got me! But, I got it done, so I should be caught up for a week or so.
