I am having a Merry Podcast of a day! While getting some organizing and cleaning done I have been catching up on some of the Podcast posted here. Dang! I didn't realize how much work that I need catching up on. The Podcast are helping me along with it all!!!

Anyone who has not had a chance to take a listen, be sure to look them up on here. Jeff Westover has done a great job putting them together!

I failed to mention that even though they show up they never get ignored. They get attention and fed. It is really sad to see all these furry babies running around with no homes. Thankfully some got rescued by others around here!!!

Of course, bless your heart.
It is the same way here, we band together and find the best ways possible to take care of animals. We have a neighborhood page that helps in these situations, too. It is beautiful, the big hearts that animal lovers have.

After yesterday's ** MILESTONE DAY ** and after reviewing the chart to see where out next Milestone is, I can't wait to share the news!

First, consider:
Days to the Season: 79
Days to Christmas Day: 121

Then (now hold on to your candy canes) behold our next Milestone marker.
It's just 3 weeks away, and...............it's the 100-day Christmas Day Window, after which BOTH of our counts will be down to double-digits.
(And here you thought there was plenty of time left. Guess again!)


A bit better yesterday than Monday. Hopefully that weather trend will continue today and the rain will hold off.
We show 70 degrees here, currently.

And say, now. Carl is pumped, too. After all, he tracks the count and plans some of his open houses around the Milestone markers.

YAY! Wonderful news! Carl says he's going to try some of these QVC recipes...fall and winter meals! Tasty meatballs and squash! Hope he doesn't try and mix up a drink with those flavors...

How are you holding up? This week my supervisor booked Mr. to come in afternoons into evening, as needed, so we're splitting the long hours between us this week. Much easier! But as a result we're seeing more of each other at work than at home!

Here is Meca and our tortoise, Alvin. Alvin thinks he is one of the dogs and is always following them around and crawling into Meca's bed with her. They don't seem to mind!

Honestly cant remember the last time I logged on here?! Possibly December last year if not before, I dont get a minute to sit down and relax at the moment. My little boy turned one in May so Im constantly running round after him, but today is a nursery day and Ive off work as Im going to Paris on friday with my partner as he is 30 tomorrow :D hope you are all well and are having a great year so far! I managed to catch a bit of QVCs christmas shows yesterday I missed the July one as it was on 24th instead of 25th :( really looking forward to it this year though my little one will be abit more aware of the lights and decorations etc, still dont think he will be quite old enough for santa at 19 months or the presents but Im sure he will still have fun with the wrapping paper :D

Good Morning, MMC!!!!!! Happy Pines Day!!!! It's going to be another beautiful day here with a high in the mid 70's. It's going to start warming back up tomorrow though and reach 90 by next Tuesday. Boo!!! Not to much going on here today. I just need to make some phone calls. Then I'll probably try to spend some time cleaning. I'm sure I'll also spend some time wondering what is wrong with this world. The news out of Virginia is terrible and then some guy here decided to steal a car and just start running over people downtown this morning. Luckily it doesn't sound like any of the 7 that he hit have serious injuries. I'll try to get back down here to my new favorite bench later today and catch up some. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!

The news is making me sick lately, what a terrible day. My thoughts are with the families of these tragedies.
