Christmas Countdown - 2015

Good evening friends. Hope you all are snuggled up next to someone you love, watching or doing something you like.

Choir banquet was so much fun and tomorrow afternoon will be the first rehearsal of the season. I've never been on a choir so I'm both excited and anxious at the same time.

Watching Cedar Cove now and when it's over I'm going to make my very first loaf of banana bread.

My day went well, thank you. I got some shopping done, had a nice visit with my parents this afternoon, did some cooking and cleaning too. I'm finally able to relax, feeling sleepy already.
Hope you're having fun with the Autumn village, can't wait to see the pictures!

I know, just my kind of luck! Well, I got the mower deck pulled off and got the rest of the snake out from the tractor. It was a black snake. I measured all of the parts and it measured about 50 inches long. Oh Well, he'll make a nice dinner for a fox, hawk, raccoon or something.

I was just talking about finishing the basement, and what did I do today, I went downstairs and decided that I did not like the way the door swing to the basement bathroom was. So, I took the door, trim and frame off and switched the door around so that it opened in the opposite direction. I know, I'm goofy like that, but, I completely finished the task.

We are watching the Ravens/ Redskins pre-game tonight, just us, both of the kids are at work, so we got the house to ourselves.

Terrible connection again today. I think I need to hunt down whoever's connection I'm borrowing and ask them to move their router closer to me. LOL!!!

While I'm knocking on people's doors though, here is a little something for you to ponder.

According to the commercial that was just on, I should buy a new mattress every 8 years. So why did the next commercial tell me their mattress came with a 20 year warranty if I'm supposed to replace it after 8 years? LOL!!!

Thanks! The village was a lot of work but so rewarding! It's my first time of having a lot of the newer pieces out!
