Good Saturday morning, my Christmas friends!

Today is Jacob's 18th birthday! We're all going out to eat tonight, then mama is cooking lasagna for him tomorrow, and Nancy, Elizabeth & Mrs. Hilda baked him a cake last night. It sounds like food is the theme this year LOL.

I hope I don't have too much to do this weekend, but something always pop up. We'll see!

The Weekend.
It's here again.

Sit back, relax, and indulge yourself with a tall glass of sweet, southern iced tea while munching on a take-out fired twinkie from the Shispering Pines.
Then, open the latest addition of "The Daily Count".....and recoil with shock!

Days to the Season: 69
Days to Christmas Day: 111

You suddenly realize just how close the next Milestone is.....and what an important one!
Just 11 days will elapse before we enter a double-double digit count sequence.
SINGLE DIGITS from the day after tomorrow.
(What a shock indeed!)


Still quite warm as we muddle our way throught the last of Summer, eagerly anticipating lower humidity, fall colors, a new college football season......and the launch of Christmas Blossoms 2015 later this month!
This morning has commended here at 71 degrees under sunny skies.

My girls all have off from work today so I'm going to spend some time with them. No big plans, maybe we'll go out to lunch and do a little bit of shopping. This weekend we are having some fun with family out at camp David, enjoying a bbq and time around the camp fire.
