I know what you mean, we had our last three day weekend last week and it marks the official end although it won't feel truly autumn till October. September is my transition month sort of like the yellow light to get ready LOL

Since A Christmas To Remember will not be at the mall until November, I will likely have to fall back on Hallmark. They almost always have Christmas items out in September.
Might already have some -- I'll have to check the next time I'm out there.

I'll try my best and take some photos. I always feel nervous taking photos in shops though as it's 'frowned' upon here. LOL I keep expecting a SWAT team to swoop down on me or something!

Happy Labor Day everyone!
I hope everyone is loving these last few moments of summer. I've enjoyed this past weekend alone, sleeping till 6am every morning, no real places to go. Had a wonderful day at church yesterday, i made my choir debut
yesterday. My girls weren't there due to
visiting their dad but they'll be there this
Sunday. Texted London and they'll be home in
a few hours, so I'm catching up on some lite cleaning.

Thanks for that; I'm not exactly feeling better, but I'm faking wellness as best I can considering there are people in worse health than me, I guess I'm doing okay. Feeling a bit weak today, but I think it's the allergy medication I was taking so I stopped taking it. I made it through last week without taking time off and I'll get through this one too. Kind of glad I have an extra day to coast through. The festive mood around MMC is good medicine.

I'll try my best and take some photos. I always feel like nervous taking photos in shops though as it's 'frowned' upon here. LOL I keep expecting a SWAT team to swoop down on me or something!

It's like that here too. The only place that I've found that will let me take photos is the local Hallmark shop as long as I tell them I'm taking photos of things I want for Christmas. Everyone is so nervous about privacy laws these days. Clearly my camera is aimed at ornaments and sometimes I wonder about taking shots of outdoor decorations and then I say to myself, "they've put them out for all to enjoy" so I consider it a compliment to snap a photo. My camera is so very noticable, if I use my cell phone, I guess it will appear less obvious. The best way is to simply ask permission when you're in a store so you don't get the "SWAT" tapping you on the shoulder. Around here it's always tricky weather-wise to get good photos. Sometimes it's so cold outside that my lens will stick from the frost.

Doing good thanks My youngest and I spent a couple hours in the park and walking today. Other than that just catching up with a few things and now it late evening so sitting down to some work on the PC.

Happy Labor Day everyone. It's been a busy but fun for us today. Hubby and i started the day with a three mile walk. After breakfast, went to BJ's to take advantage of some coupons.Oh my, it was a madhouse, and they were only opened a short time when we got there. Once home, I started laundry and made macaroni salad and a garden salad to have with dinner tonight. Hubby is cooking on the grill as I post . I watered flowers, and spent some time outside reading.We may take a ride after supper, but staying home relaxing sounds good too, so i guess we'll figure it all out while having dinner. Hope everyone is having a safe and happy holiday!
