Today is going to be another good day off, and my goodness have I needed this stretch of the week. It's been wonderful to just relax and not have responsibilities outside of the home for a few days to catch my breath. Work starts again tomorrow, but I get Friday off for a conference! Still, we won't talk about that yet...

My football team plays their first game today, and I'm excited to watch football again!!!! A perfect way to spend the Sunday afternoon for sure.

I know he was in Shamus with Burt Reynolds back in the early 70's (73?) What I love about it was that Morris was a shelter rescue back in '68 when he started his famed finicky career. He died in '78 when my cat Shamus died. All the cats that took on his role in 9Lives also came from animal shelters.

We saved this big boy from terrible 2 toddler who tried to flush him down the toilet. O'Malley was a wee thing when we brought him home 10 years ago (last April) and look at him now.

Always loved Morris (I have the "autobiography" they published in the 1970s), but I sure do love that O'Malley! I'm glad he found a home with you.

It's a gray-weather day here, and it makes me feel lazy. I've been busy this morning restoring and re-setting-up an iPad for a friend who was having trouble. I should be getting busy on some Christmas videos, but I feel so-o-o lazy, partly because a cough is still hanging on from the cold I had. I'll try to do something useful at some point today!

Evening all. I hope your weekends went well. It's been a quiet one for me. Got the grass cut this morning which was great as it's now been raining solid for hours. Just finished dinner and once the cleaning ups finished its sticky toffee pudding and TV time.

Thanks goodness you guys found each other. He looks happy and content. He is gorgeous. I had a cat this colour when I was little. We called him Daisy. (Yes Daisy! I know! LOL!)

I haven't accomplished much myself - weather is dull so I've just been relaxing and enjoyed a nap that lasted well over an hour. I've been really busy the last two weeks and the week ahead is going to be 6 days of work with minimal merry play time. My husband said, "Why don't you forget your chores and just pamper yourself today." He went out to fetch the groceries. I'm about to start dinner shortly. Now that we're nearing the end of the day, I wish I had done a bit more since I feel like I wasted a bit of the day, but that's what relaxing is all about.

Glad that Maggie had a better night, praying that you both do again tonight!
Hope that she gets used to the drops soon, and let's you put them in without a fight. Little stinker jazzie just had one recently, as well, and gave my parents a hard time too. Must be uncomfortable for them, poor girls.
