Great news on that vacation xmas!

Hope everyone has a great tail end of the week. So excited to be in Fall now. Love seeing some of the stores peek out some Christmas things.

I am loving the chill in the air once the sun gets low in the sky, it feels so invigorating in the morning when it is in the 40's.

I notice quite a few shops here have been a little slow. Like you say it is the calm before the storm. Once October hits , it's going to get busier. I hope the season is tolerable for you this year. Great news about vacation!!!! You have something to look forward to at the end!

It is going to be a good season this year, I did a risky move over the last month and re-trained all my employees slowly by introducing more and more daily tasks for all of them, It has worked. My area has never run better and I have employees doing a lot more now than in the past, and I am actually managing the area instead taking on everything myself.

Fridays don't really matter too much to me since I work on Saturdays, but I went through the day today thinking it was Friday. I still have two working days until my next day off.

Good morning everyone, Happy Thursday!
I'm heading out in a little bit, I'm going to take my youngest to the Apple store to pick something up. Back home afterward to work on some chores around the house. Not too much else going on. It's going to be sunny and warm today with a high of around 80 degrees. No cool weather yet but I'm already craving hearty comfort foods, tonight I'm making chicken pot pie. Love those warm and cozy Fall dishes!

Good evening my friends. Just getting in from another long day, the fourth in a row where I worked 12 hours, left from there and drove to my grandfathers packed up his belongings for three more hours and moved them 50 miles away to my house. I'm actually a little tired, but yet still a little jacked up from moving all those boxes. Sounds like Ice cream and a little TV should do the trick....

It was but the end of the summer and lots of vacations between all of us, it sort of got lost in the shuffle, I will be off the weekend of 10/15 next.

Good Thursday morning, my Christmas friends!

I had my procedure yesterday. I'm glad that's "behind" me! I got a great report, and was told to come back in 10 years. Nice! Nancy and I ate breakfast at Cracker Barrel afterwards, and the browsing area is FULL of Fall and Christmas stuff. I loved it!

It's rainy and cool here today. I'll live with the rainy, as long as we get the cool. It's still humid, but hopefully that'll clear up in the next few weeks.

I had ice cream for dessert tonight. Drumstick cones have their Christmassy peppermint selections out. I had to buy them today.

Good for you!! I totally get needing a day off. Enjoy it, it's well earned and well deserved!

I get my day off tomorrow. My plan is to do some DJ work for Kringle Radio, if no one in the neighborhood is mowing their lawn or blowing leaves. And relax and get some early Christmas vibe on!

I got a surprise yesterday that made my day. My supervisor quietly gave me two days off in October that won't be charged as vacation days. They're compensation for the heavy workload and long hours in the past few weeks. I was so elated, I couldn't think straight for about ten minutes---I was so giddy thinking about what I could do with some time off!

That is great, how nice of them to give you that time off. You deserve it.
