Yes but in Jan and Feb we may be wishing for that warm weather! Hope this winter will not be anything like the last 2. But it's nice for the fall weather to arrive. We need the rain and it looks like we're getting it this week.

I'm not wishing for Polar Vortex temperatures, lol. Just some nice cooler Fall weather. I'm with you, praying this winter isn't so harsh! Yes, looks like we have lots of rain heading our way!

When it rains, it pours
Adrian got an unexpected bill from his surgery, we thought we had received them all- apparently not.
Our health insurance premium is going up, again, that was in the mailbox yesterday.
The truck (at the shop), Doctor appointments, commuting back & forth to Tomah.
Rent was just raised again! It's been more than our house payment was.
We need to budget better. And we just decided on going month to month last week, (which raises it an additional $50/month on top of the other increase) so we could start looking for a house again. Time is not on our side, lol. Ahhh, well. What are you going to do?

Another work day about to end here. Been pretty overcast most of the day but not really any rain (yet). Supposed to come tonight. Heard about a possible storm this weekend. Hoping it's nothing too bad though. This had to be one of the nicest summers we've had here in NY in a long time. Day after day it was warm and sunny...but now we're paying for it with a drought.
Anyway, looking forward to going home and having dinner. Hope everyone has had a good day.

I've been working on some chores around the house, just relaxing now for a couple of minutes with a cup of coffee. I'm going to head out in a little bit to get my errands over with, I have to get a few things at the supermarket. I also have to stop at the veterinarian to pick up copies of Maggie's most recent test results to show the holistic veterinarian on Thursday. I have to squeeze a workout in at some point too, if I can find the energy. I really need to catch up on some sleep!

Good morning MMC! I'm finally caught up on this thread...you chatty, chatty Christmas peeps! It's a rainy, dreary day here today. It's not cold, (high of 78) but it makes me feel chilly when I look outside b/c it's so damp & dreary. Saturday they are calling for a high of 56º with 18mph wind (15-25mph it says on detailed) & a 60% chance of rain! Sounds like a miserable day!! We are supposed to be in a bicycle poker run that day at the lake! Brrrrr! I guess we'll play it by ear. Might be a movie & a blankey kind of day!!

Yeah it's scary. Actually I remember New Years Eve like it was yesterday...getting ready to start a new year and here we are basically 75% of the way through it. Never fear, the best 25% is left to go (yeah I'm a math guy).

Yup, that sure does sound like that what it is....Sometimes, I look at this type of a situation and think to myself that maybe I am being tested by a higher power to make me become hopefully more stronger, wiser and hopefully have more patience than before I experience all of the things that can drive a person nuts......... keep on smiling~
