I'm waking up feeling a little under the weather this morning, so I'm just praying that I can take good care of myself today and stop it from turning into a full blown sick. The weather change always gets me, especially when I went out running in it I guess! :rolleyes:

Today's focus is on taking good care of myself. Mondays are tough as it is! Nobody needs them to be harder than they are!

Hope you all have a wonderful day today. Perhaps we will see the sun for the first time in over a week! I'm sure I'll be blinded by it and have to put my glasses on! :cool:

That last happened here in 2002. We woke up before it started looked at each other, and decided to drive to my in laws for the day. The drive home was rough, but we spent the day with loved ones. We ended up with 12-16inches.

Ahh yes the same here. We got that storm and had about a foot of snow. I remember here it started around noon time on Christmas Day. That was a magical Christmas.

We had a fun day apple picking, and spending time with fsmily. The weather was perfect, sunny cool crisp fall air out at the orchard. Picked a couple bags of apples, ate cider donuts.

The Bengals looked good going to 4-0, this team feels different than years past. Andy Dalton has played great so far, just hoping it keeps going.

Yeah I hear ya. That's kind of the reason I mainly take Mondays and Fridays off during the year to have 3 day weekends. I know that even having a full week off is hard. 2 weeks off must seem very difficult to go back to work from. I'm wondering how I'll deal with going back to work after 11 days off for Christmas-New Years. I'm not used to having that kind of time off.
 
Good Monday morning MMC. We currently have 49 degrees under mostly cloudy skies in the suburbs of NY. Our first full week of October is here. Let's enjoy them because in January and February we will wish we were back at this point. The anticipation is building. I won't even rush my Monday. I'm just enjoying the fact that we are getting so close to the Christmas season yet haven't even started it yet so we have time still to think about everything we want to do during it.
My busy week last week is over but there will be some "leftovers" if you will. Should keep me busy enough this week without being too crazy. Mondays are always a little tough but not terrible. Monday just has a bad reputation I think. I'm going to try to study a bit after work and then relax after that. Hopefully I won't feel too wiped out from Monday when I get home.
Hope everyone has a great Monday. I've only been back a week but it really does feel like "home." Love having this place to come to every day. It's very comforting.

Another rough night, I'm going to need a lot of coffee today. Typical day of errands and chores. My husband and I also need to go back to the court office, I decided I want to ask the Small Claims Court Clerk if we can serve Molly's surgeon with a subpoena. I think I forgot to mention our court date is December 17th. Not happy about it being the week before Christmas but I didn't have a choice. I'm also going to file a complaint with the New York State Office of Professional Discipline. This has nothing to do with the small claims case. They are the licensing body of veterinarians. If I file a complaint they are required to launch an investigation. So I'll be working on that today as well. Like I said, it may be hard for me to prove wrongdoing but I'm going to try my best. At least I'll know I did all that I could have possibly done and then we can finally put this all behind us.
That's about it for me. I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and has a great week ahead!

Good for you filing the complaint. It's a smart move. I agree 100% that no matter what happens you will at least know you did everything you could and that is worth a lot. Hoping for positive outcome all around

Well, not really. We only had a light sprinkle in the late afternoon but it was darkish, overcast, damp and oppressive all day. Could be a repeat today but Tuesday is supposed to see an end to this. (I'll believe it when I see it.)
We are at 58 soaked degrees here currently, under leaden skies.


Have a Marvelous Monday, Folks
(I will. BOTH of my 2 favorite NFL teams, the Packers and the Panthers, won yesterday and they are now both 4-0!)
