Good Thursday morning MMC. How's everyone now that we are more than halfway through the week? I've got a long day today but that's ok. I am leaving at 7:30 for work like usual and won't return till 7:30 after my exam which will be after work. . But once I get home from that 12 hour day we will be almost to Friday which is always exciting. It is currently 56 degrees under mostly cloudy skies in the suburbs of NY. We are expecting a high of 70 degrees with mostly sunny skies. Can't complain about the weather this week that's for sure.
Everyone thinking about the weekend yet? Any special plans? I'm thinking this weekend I do need to dig more into my Halloween shows/movies/cartoons etc. I bought some Halloween candy yesterday...it's definitely feeling like the holidays are around the corner now. Pretty scary yet 10X more exciting than scary!
Have a great Thursday everyone. Just remember we're getting closer to the weekend and we're downnnnnnnnn the homeeeeeeeeee stretttttttttttcch to the Christmas Season, OUR season.

Sounds like a busy day--and yes, it is almost Friday!!!
I'm off today, and I'm thinking about fall cleaning this weekend! Gotta get things ready to decorate soon! We've been married a year and in this apartment in a year, and we STILL have extra chairs, boxes, etc that need to get moved and sent to the thrift store. Pre-holiday cleaning!!!

In case you were not here yesterday, we successfully entered the final 10 percent of our Season count and are now advancing rapidly on Christmas Season 2015.

Days to the Season: 36
Days to Christmas Day: 78

And in point of fact, there are now NO more Milestones separating us from the commencement of the Season on Nov 13.
That's as in ZERO, folks!
(Better start getting ready!)


Ah! Fantastic weather at last.
We paid our dues with 12 consecutive days of rain and now Mother Nature owes us!
This fine, clear morning has begun at 61 degrees here in central NC.

Merry Morning, MMCers!

The concert last night was out of this world awesome!!! I'm enjoying a quiet morning before my day off! I'll be doing a lot of fall cleaning today! Pre-holiday cleaning as I like to call it. Time to get this apartment ready for some major decorating for Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas! SO EXCITING. I'll be listening to Christmas music as I do it to get in the festive mood!

I'm feeling almost back to 100% now. I'm pretty tired after being up last night really, really late, but it was so worth it!!! Hope everyone has a wonderful productive day! In the homestretch now!

Afternoon all,
I'm having one of those days where everything thing is running later than planned. Hope everyone is having a good day. For most of you it's probably only just starting?

Hey does anyone know of any SAFE ways to deter cats from doing their business from my garden. The unknown feline has taken to a spot next to my front door which really isn't ideal!! It's really frustrating me. I've just had to clean up FOUR spots of it!!! It's not even my cat!!! LOL!! ANy suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

My moms Dog has these new pills in a pocket(i dont know these)
And still is pushing the food and meds apart LOL.

My sister who is my moms caretaker sent me a text saying ''Ive got the old dog blues ''
At least she has Not lost her sense of humor.
Now she has a 83 Year old mom and the ''Old Dog Lady'' As We Call The Poodle Now- A-Days.

[Holiday]

Today I guess was my lucky day. I was going to buy pizza for lunch but the "big shots" had a meeting and ordered pizza. This lady at the front desk who I'm friends with tipped me off and let me know when/where the leftovers were. I had free pizza which tastes even better than pizza you pay for.
Then I had to go drop off some paperwork to an auditor so that got me out of the office an hour. I always enjoy doing that even though my boss always asks me as if she thinks I don't want to go. I wish that I could go every day!
Hump day is fading...time to go home, have dinner, study and relax.

Can't beat free pizza!! Before we put a mailbox out front at work I would have to go to the PO every day to get the mail. I LOVED IT! My boss always acted like it was too much of a chore for me to have to do that....oh no...that was the best part of the work day! LOL!
