Just woke up from a nap--so much for cleaning all day! :D Time to get productive this afternoon!!

Naps are wonderful gifts on days off! Time to enjoy cleaning up and watching Gilmore Girls!

And maybe some Christmas music in there...because we're in the FINAL COUNTDOWN (cue 80s music...)

When we lived in the Las Vegas, our home was built on land that was previously open desert. All kinds of critters had called it their home. So, once we landscaped our back yard, we had all kinds of animals trying to get back in. Some actually climbed the cement walls. We placed some of those owls (heads move) on the corners of our wall, to deter / scare off them.

Me too! My son in law gets free Cowboys tickets all the time from his boss who is a season ticket holder and sometimes gives them to us. He, my daughter and my grandkids are all Patriot fans!!! What??? They are from Dallas and I thought I raised my daughter better than that.Ha ha! I use to take her to games when she was little but she turned her back on the Boys. Anyway, they did get free tickets to this upcoming game to cheer on the Pats. Booo! We banter all the time about it ALL IN FUN! Nothing personal, we love giving each other a hard time! :D

I'm having some issues posting here, but while I'm on the ropes, I'm not out! (Please forgive the boxing references. I watched Rocky Balboa this morning, and I'm still pumped up!) It makes me wait at least 60 seconds before I can post after I post or go to the next page. That'll just give me an opportunity to read all posts more carefully!

Elizabeth and her cousin started painting the round bails of hay into pumpkins in Bellville yesterday, and we've started decorating for Fall. Fun, fun!

I LOVE Rocky. And yeah it does get someone pumped up. You know they are coming out with a new movie called "Creed" on Thanksgiving? It's about Rocky training the son of Apollo Creed. I'm sure Rocky will still throw a few punches at some point in that movie.
