Christmas Countdown - 2015

Merry Friday Morning, MMC!!
IT'S FRIDAY!

That alone is cause for celebration. Also, my aunt is in town and getting breakfast with my husband and my best friend and me! It's going to be wonderful to see her. I have a short (hopefully) workday at my easy job, then I'll see my dad in town just long enough to run an errand, and I have some work to do from home for my other job as well. Hopefully I'll get it done early so I can enjoy my weekend as close to 5 as possible! Only have to work 2 hours on Sunday and that's it! WOOHOO for the weekend!

Good Friday morning MMC. Maybe I should capitalize and exclamation point FRIDAY!!? This week has gone pretty quickly I'd say (don't most of them). It's 59 degrees under mostly cloudy skies in the suburbs of NY. Today we're expecting a high of 76 degrees (warm) with some showers around. It's that time of year where it seems every other day the temp goes up or down 10 degrees. It is supposed to be a nice weather weekend. Let's hope that holds out after some showers on Friday.
Anyway, my exam last night was well...not as bad as it could have been? I guess that's putting it in a positive way haha. It's Calculus so it's not gonna be easy but I felt like I had a clue at least on how to work through more of the questions than not. I was talking to a woman after class and she seemed pretty upset about it. I tried to ease her mind. I've been talking to her online (it's an online class but we go in for exams) and trying to help her (not that I'm some Calculus expert by any stretch). The good thing is I don't have any homework assignments this weekend. I will just read over some notes.
Friday, here we come. Weekend get ready. I'm looking forward to it as always. And I know all of you fine MMC people are also. Talk to you guys later.

Good Morning, Friends.

Well, Well, Well. It's here again.
Weekend Eve in all its glory!

This is glorious, too:
Days to the Season: 35 (Five weeks from today!)
Days to Christmas Day: 77 (Eleven weeks from today!)

And, per recent custom, the time has come to add the Hallween count:
Days to Halloween: 22 (Three weeks from tomorrow!)
(The holidays are fast approaching, Comrades.)


Mother Nature must have feelings of guilt over the way we were treated for the 12 days of rain we received, so ever since then, she has sent fantastic weather our way.
Should be nice again today before a chance of light rain returns again tomorrow.
Right now, our back door thermometer reads 64 degrees here in our little portion of MMC and the skies are clear as a bell.

Quick in and out - been a busy week and the weekend celebration between my Anniversary and the Canadian Thanksgiving is underway. I'm off in search of new shoes for my work out and a gift for my husband. The drive up North for Fall leaves will take a back seat until Tuesday. We're going to visit the grandkids tomorrow.

I promised my husband, I wouldn't spend too much time on the computer this weekend, he's feeling "ignored". He'll be tired of me soon enough, I'm sure.

Afternoon christmas friends,

How is your friday? It's almost time to pick the kids up so mine is going pretty fast! I can't wait to kick back and enjoy some family time this weekend. It is hectic through the week so I am grateful for this little time out.

It is very warm here today about 17C (62F)! Feels a little strange to be crunching through fallen leaves in this warmth! I am not complaining though, we had incessant rain over the last few days!

Har is hanging in- about the same since I posted last. She is eating and drinking some, but her stomach seems upset. She has been resting a lot.
She sees one of her vets on Monday afternoon for shots, so we will have him look her over again if she is still unwell. Thanks for asking <3

MMC still isn't running right for me, but I've found a way around it. It just slows me down, but why am I in such a hurry, anyway?

The kids have a half-day of school today, starting their Fall break. They have Monday off, too. Jacob's running off with his buddies, but Elizabeth is going to have lunch with me, my brother and our mom.

I tried to cut the grass yesterday, but the mower punked out on me. I know what the problem is, but the replacement part won't be here until tomorrow..and it's supposed to rain tomorrow. And Jacob has a gig tomorrow. Oh well. maybe the neighbors won't write me angry letter about my yard!

Gracie appreciates the hugs!! That "sweet little girl" chewed on my friends flip flops last night!! LOL! She's FAST!!! She didn't really hurt them, but just left a few of her teeth marks in them... her autograph I guess!
