Days to Halloween: 20 (Under 3 weeks remain!)
Days to the Season: 33 (Barely over a month left!)
Days to Christmas Day: 75 (Scarcely 2 1/2 months to go!)
(Looks like we've got a strong tail wind Folks, because we are making good time.)


Yep. The predicted rain and chilly weather arrived right on schedule yesterday.
Now today, we should improve quite a bit with warmer, drier weather on tap.
We have started the second half of our Weekend at 57 degrees here in the capital city, without a cloud in the sky.

Happy Sunday everyone. Wow that week went fast. It's a pleasant autumn morning here, hopefully taking baby out for first time today. Any UK members that have movies 24 channel, Battle of the bulbs is on at three o'clock.

Chilly willy morning....my bare piggies are stuffed down in-between the sofa cushions at the moment to get warm; hmmm maybe socks would help!... 40 degrees and the sun is popping up over the trees here at the house this morning. Perfect coffee weather....

What to do today? Well, I guess I have to cut grass, and then the rest of the day is a just go-with-the-flow kind of a day!

I tried a couple times to reach gabulldawg, without success. I pray he's ok. I know real life can make folks very busy. I hope that's all it is. He last post was very concerning.

I agree that last post is worrying. Also that was since Feb and nothing since. Praying hard that he and his family are all well. Please keep us posted if you do get in touch.

Football watching was a success! Kim's nephews' team finished their regular season at 7-1 with a 35-0 victory. Then, the Packers came out with another victory to reach 5-0! I hope you enjoyed the game as much as me, snowflake!

We got to church, although we were late. Par for the course, for us.

We've had lunch at mom's, and cake & coffee. I checked the trail camera and saw several deer. Fun!

Packers look good. My picks look well unbelievable. I'm 8-1 so far this week against the spread. I have had a bad season till now in my work league. I probably just jinxed myself for today.

Husband is back on call starting tonight-and of course, not even an hour in, he's called in to respond to a significant event. And we've been told he needs to coordinate with the other staff to see what holidays he can get off based on coverage...

It's been a bit of a disappointing evening. I'm headed to community group from church. Will likely check back in when I return home. Hope you have a lovely start to your evening/sleep well to our across the pond friends!

Hello everyone. I'm thinking of you all and hope you're having a great weekend.
MerryCarey, I'm glad you had a good trip. Sounds fun!
We went to a local family farm today that had a pumpkin patch. They have other things too and the kids had a lot of fun. The final event was a hayride where zombies come out if the fields and we had paintball guns to blast them with. It was great!

Unfortunately we don't. I 'm surprised we even got the golden recently. Maybe they will start to introduce more. I have seen the peanut one in an American Candy shop but it was probably about 5x more what you're supposed to pay.

It's the same over here for some British goods! I can get PG Tips at the supermarket, but to get the decaf PG Tips I have to order from the Internet ... and when it comes, the expiration date is within a month or two, and I can't drink that much decaf in a month! (I drink the regular during the day, and the decaf at home in the evening.) Sometime we should send each other a wish list and exchange goodie packages!

Glad that you keep in touch, been thinking of her. Hope all is well with dawg. FB is really good for keeping in touch with people especially if your loved ones are scattered across the globe. I used to have an account but deactivated it.

I get along without it because most of my family is older than I, and some don't even use computers. As for my online friends, they're all here at MMC!
