It really was, we just didn't have any holiday spirit last early December with my oldest son's cat unexpectedly passing. We were behind all month long and we got too close to Christmas and had to do the marathon shopping to be safe.
Well sorry to hear that. I hope this year will be 10 times better of a Christmas season for you.

A long day here, I came home and crashed for an hour or so. I was able to get a haircut during my lunch hour today, so I don't have that Chia Pet meets a Q-tip look going on anymore, and it means my next haircut wil be right before Christmas. I have to look normal when Santa visits.
I work tomorrow, come home and get the boys to go for a hike on Peaked Mountain to do some geocaching with the Scouts. I am going to be one tired guy for Saturday's shift.
I am trying to decide when I should make the switch in my MP3 player to Christmas music, I was thinking Nov. 1, but I am getting itchy to make the switch sooner. Any suggestions?
Heigh ho, it's off to bed I go.

Merry, I had no idea you were a fan of Mrs. Brown. LOL! I have strangely took a liking to it a few years back and the Christmas specials are a tradition of mine also. It's one I need to watch after the kids are down though
Have you ever seen The Vicar of Dibley? I think you might like it. The christmas specials are a must see for me too during the season.

You had me laughing about the hair! Nov 01st is when I will make the switch to Christmas movies and music. However, I feel like if you really want to make that switch now then you should go ahead. You need to make up for last year afterall
