Good Morning everyone

Morning Irish!

Good Sunday Morning MMC! We currently have 55 degrees under cloudy skies. We are expecting a forecast high of 64 with mostly cloudy skies. Milder than yesterday but more cloudy also. Take the bad with the good in the weather department :).
As Festive mentioned we're going to have A LOT to look forward to this coming week with Halloween/November being next weekend. That's always MAJOR. For today I'm going to try to take it easy this afternoon. Sometimes on Saturday I try to get everything out of the way so that Sunday I can relax more or take it slow. Gotta rest up on Sundays for sure. Looking forward to the Jets/Pats game and some good football. Should be a fun Sunday.
I hope everyone enjoys the 2nd half of their weekend. Talk to you guys later!

Good Morning, everyone!

Happy Rudolph Day!

Yes, in only TWO MONTHS we will be gathered around our Christmas Trees and celebrating the culmination of our favourite Season. To think, in less than two months, Rudolph will be performing his yearly duty and guiding Santa around the world. Until then, let us enjoy counting down. After all, the Christmas Season is only....

How far away, you ask? Let's look at the count!

Days to Halloween: 6 (LESS THAN A WEEK AWAY!)
Days to the Season: 19 (So long 20s, hello teens!)
Days to Christmas Day: 61 (Breakout your poodle skirts, we're nearing the 50s!)

The Autumn leaves are falling seemingly as fast as our countdown numbers here in Canada's Capital. As for the temperatures, they are a little warmer than seasonal. Currently, we sit at 11c/50f. The windchill, however, brings out down to 7c/45f. Even from inside, those 45km (27mph) wind gusts are quite fierce.

Even with the temperatures, I expect that everyone will be dressed warm at Kim's nephews' football game. They are making the drive from Cornwall to play against an east end Ottawa team. The boys' are 7-1. Today is their semifinal game! Let's hope the Cornwall Wildcats can continue their success!

The Packers could not have had a better bye week. Today will be filled with a bit of shopping and Christmas hunting. If you have the time, I suggest that you, too, find Christmas "Budding" in your area and share it with everyone via the Blossoms thread. It is the Most Wonderful Thread of the Year, and it commemorates the Most Wonderful Time of the Year. Sure, it's not officially the Season yet, but those Buds will certainly be in Full Bloom shortly!

Well, friends, whether you're watching football, spending time with your family, or doing some deeds, I hope that you all enjoy your day! Big thanks to Edge for filling in yesterday, and much more appreciation for him suggesting to split the dates! ...and, of course, let's all look forward to Crown's countdown return tomorrow!

Have a Super Sunday, everyone!

Have you ever bought a digital song that had a short "stutter" in one part of it? I bought a Christmas track to use in my Kringle Radio work, and there's a flaw in the track, even when I re-download it. Grrrr ... I opened it in Audacity and patched the spot with music from another part of the track. I don't think anyone will hear the patch, but it annoys me that I had to put in extra work because the track came with a flaw.

Mr. has come down with a nasty cold, I had multiple nasty financial surprises this week, and it's a gray-weather day here, so I'm kinda "down" today. So I think I'll get out of here before I cast a cloud over things!

Sending get well wishes to Mr!
Hope you're feeling better today too (((hugs)))

Great job Brent. And it is amazing how close we are now to the Season.

Merry Sunday all :)
I hope your weekend is turning out well.
My saturday started off quite cosy. I was up quite early and the children were being good so I watched St. Elmo's Fire while they played. It was just around mid day when we the kids and I were about to chose something to watch together when my husband suddenly gets in the DIY spirit. He had a pretty long lie in so I assumed we weren't going to bother.

Anyway spent most of the day helping him and didn't finish till about 8pm as it turned into a longer job than expected (always does :) ! On the plus side we went to the local DIY store and they had their christmas section out with christmas music on! I found a couple of things on clearance too!

The clocks changed last night so at least I have an extra hour this morning. I am off to work shortly and I am already exhausted after yesterday! :D Hope It goes quick. I have next weekend off to motivate me along with the fact it's halloween and Nov 01st!

Take care and enjoy your Sunday everybody!

Thank you!!!! :blinky:
Good luck to the Cornwall Wildcats~
Hope you have a wonderful day!

As I am typing this two of our old Hondas are being towed to the dealership where we traded them in for a new Ford Fusion. Our Hondas served us very very well and I pushed for another Honda, but my Husband did loads of research and went with this new Ford. (One Honda is 14 years old, the other is 17 years old. He fixed and fixed and fixed them.) He brought the Ford home last night and it is SWEET! I really, really, really don't want a monthly car payment, but here we are and I am just going to enjoy our first new car ever! :)
Congrats on your new car!!!

Good afternoon Snowflake!
My day is going well. So excited, I just ordered Def Leppard tickets lol. I think it's so cool that so many of the groups I grew up listening to are still going strong.
Hope your day is going well too!
Sending hugs and prayers ♥
Congrats on your concert tickets!
My favorite groups are either dead, disbanded, too old. Status Quo still tours but they don't tour the USA. I guess that goes with being a big anglophile music fan of the late 60's and 70's.
