Christmas Countdown - 2015

Please send up a prayer for my SIL if you don't mind. She is in ICU - they took her last night by squad then transferred her to a bigger hospital to have fluid drained from her heart. She was supposed to be moved to a regular floor today but they don't want to take the drain out b/c they are still getting fluid from around her heart. They got a liter last night, more overnight & 400 ml today. She has low sodium levels, low energy, no appetite. She has had breast cancer in the past & was supposed to have a surgery to remove an ovary a couple weeks ago before she started feeling so sick with a chest cold. They are running a lot of tests & her oncologist is involved. She is very sick. This is my brother who passed away in 2012 - his wife. She sure can use some prayers! Thanks friends! :)

A few minutes ago I was looking out my kitchen window and there were two fawns looking back at me. They are so cute!! Been working on things radio related and store related while listening to Christmas music. Fun!!!

A rare log in for me tonight!! Just couldn't stay away - I'm feeling so festive! I have chili soup simmering on the stove for the chili dump on Saturday & I just finished listening to the Pumpkin Spice Podcast. Loved it! So entertaining!! Now I just turned on some Christmas music & thinking about what to have for supper?! Chili? LOL!

Wow is it ever raining outside at the moment. We even had a few flashes of lightening as well. The more that the remnants of Hurricane Patrick passes us by the warmer it is becoming. It's 65 degrees right now and whew, I had to put the ceiling fans on so to cool it down just a bit in the house. We went out to the wholesale club and did some serious stocking up tonight, now, watching a little bit of the debate then heading off to catch some zzzzzz's..

Good evening xmastidings. It's raining here as well and the temperature is mild. My A/C kicked on a few minutes ago. Hope you have a good night, keeping you and your family in my thoughts.
 
Our local weather update from 2 hours ago was that rain has turned into snow, but our commutes shouldn't have been affected tonight, and won't be tomorrow since we're well above freezing, and will stay that way???

We have been at freezing!!!

And a few hours ago local weather said that snow would stop around 1:00 AM, now it's saying 5 o'clock AM. I am pretty sure that it's going to get colder between now and then, and that we are going to accumulate more than a half an inch like originally predicted.
