Please send up a prayer for my SIL if you don't mind. She is in ICU - they took her last night by squad then transferred her to a bigger hospital to have fluid drained from her heart. She was supposed to be moved to a regular floor today but they don't want to take the drain out b/c they are still getting fluid from around her heart. They got a liter last night, more overnight & 400 ml today. She has low sodium levels, low energy, no appetite. She has had breast cancer in the past & was supposed to have a surgery to remove an ovary a couple weeks ago before she started feeling so sick with a chest cold. They are running a lot of tests & her oncologist is involved. She is very sick. This is my brother who passed away in 2012 - his wife. She sure can use some prayers! Thanks friends!

Off to work on this weirdly warm Thursday--it's over 70 again here today. Two days ago was so chilly, and now it's humid and way warmer than it has been. I keep wearing a jacket outside only to realize I've overdressed! Taking advantage of today and wearing a sundress with a sweater over it to work. Can't believe I'm saying that with two days until Halloween...strange weather!
Today should be fairly normal. I'm pretty tired after this week though, so I'm looking forward to relaxing and having a good weekend with just a touch of travel Friday night into Saturday morning. Why is it always the weeks after vacation that knock you on your bum? Hopefully we'll catch up soon and be able to get back to our routine! It's been just good that I've gotten out of the apartment with shoes on this week.

Bring on Halloween weekend!Thank you so much , I appreciate it. The mornings and nights seem to be the worse with this cold. I am not feeling too bad and I am thankful I have an easy week especially with the children being off on mid term break. The weather is nasty out so I am glad not to have to be out. I hope we can all shake this bug off for good soon!

Not too much going on here today, I just have to run to the supermarket for a couple of things. Other than that I'll be working on my daily chores. The crochet class that I signed up for is later tonight. I'm getting a little bit nervous, I hope I catch on and don't embarrass myself! That's about it for me.
