They'll never know rewinding VHS tapes, how worn they got after repeated use, or manually setting a VCR to record a show. Our struggle was real.

We are fine House Is fine (Thank god) It was mild as I am from Earth Quake Country (LA,CA )Im not phased at all...
So Everyone keeps asking what i was when they started hitting..
I was here on MMC just catching up with all of what goes on here.LOL.
Thought my neighbors just slammed there garage door really hard like they do sometimes.

A couple of years ago I saw this girl (maybe 6-7 years old) ask her mom "Mommy what is that?" (as if she had just seen a spaceship) and then I looked and saw her pointing to a payphone. I felt SO OLD then...was funny though wasn't THAT long ago people were using payphones instead of living on our cell phones.

I've experienced two mild ones here in New England. The first time I was at the office, and it was just a heavy rumble, as though a huge truck were idling just outside the building. Everyone was saying, "What is that?" We were surprised when the reports came in that it was an earthquake! That reminds me of the first time I felt old. I was in my 20s, and my cousins and I were talking about various things and mentioned 8-track tapes. My youngest cousin said, "What's 8-track??" I realized that he'd not only never seen one---he'd lived his entire life without ever hearing of one!
