Kids are back at school today. We felt very christmassy this morning as we walked to school. The next time the children are off will be Christmas break. The excitement crushed any back to school blues
I'll be working home most of the day and maybe nipping to the shops quickly after I take my youngest to nursery at mid day. Wonder if there will be any Halloween bargains ...

The old technology talk is making me smile. My son asked me what a VCR was the other day! He was so confused when I told him. He also came across an old mixed tape in my keepsake box. Held it up like it was a prehistoric artifact. He had no idea what it was!

Well that's easy for her to keep track of you then huh?Nah she is not a christmas crazy like me Edge...I drive her crazy when we go shopping..I go to the christmas isle where all the lights,decorations are but she has a good guess where to find me
The sad thing is dvd players are already becoming extinct. They didn't seem to last as long but that's because technology is advancing so crazily fast.
Thank you Festive...I will probably decorated the whole inside next weekend then the following weekend start decorating outside..I just ordered 300 (3M) white lights for going outside on ebay..£8.95 what a bargain
Oh ! I need lights! I still haven't bought my replacement yet. I will have to try and find that bargain on ebay!!!!!!!
I wanted to start with bits and bobs next week but having a new boiler system installed. Decided I better wait till after the disruption.
I know!!! It's so true! By the time I have grandkids we will probably just watch a movie in Hologram form or something !

He is doing pretty well, thanks. They enjoyed the mass last night honoring Dorothy, and other loved ones who had passed last year.
He still has the same health issues but has adjusted & learned to deal with them better.

How fun!! You'll have to pick up some Christmas yarn...learn to crochet with Christmas yarn - couldn't be any better!My mom is going to teach me how to crochet at Christmas. I'm looking forward to it! We don't have cats yet, so that isn't an issue for us, but I love cats--and your story made me laugh! Just put a box down somewhere else in the room and they'll get distracted so you can crochet in peace!

Well absoloutely no sign of Halloween at the shops so I didn't score any bargains. Not even a lone bag of candy. However thres of the shops had sections closed off as they expanded with Christmas and arranged displays!!!!!!!!!!! It looks bigger with much more than they had in years!!!! I can't wait to see it all!
