I've just grown up here in a southern, rural area, and almost everyone hunts, or is at least regularly exposed to it. I hope I haven't struck any squeamish constitutions! I'll make sure I'm not too graphic with my hunting descriptions.

And, no the deer didn't suffer. The truck provided an instant, humane demise.

I've just grown up here in a southern, rural area, and almost everyone hunts, or is at least regularly exposed to it. I hope I haven't struck any squeamish constitutions! I'll make sure I'm not too graphic with my hunting descriptions.

LOL! No worries here! We have A LOT of hunters here....and a lot of deer! If not for the hunters we would have a major problem with people hitting them with their vehicles. Happens too often now!
Not to mention our wake up "call" the last 3 weekends at the lake at 6:30 in the morning - geese/duck hunters. They freaked Gracie out!

Honestly most of the pets I have seen at Gracie's vet just want to play! Gracie get's so excited when we get there, she drags me in the door. Crazy animals!

LOL! No worries here! We have A LOT of hunters here....and a lot of deer! If not for the hunters we would have a major problem with people hitting them with their vehicles. Happens too often now!

Although I live in the woods I can't say there are a lot of hunters out this way. My neighbor across the road hunts with what sounds like a cannon. It is LOUD and it literally makes the house shake. The outdoor cats are petrified whenever they hear/feel it and Palmer freaks out and hides for hours. Poor babies ~ they don't know what it is and so it is hard to reassure them that they are safe.
