I'm the same. I think the last time I went was about 3 or 4 yrs ago and on that occasion I waited too long and was very sick ... over christmas too!! There is a lesson in there somewhere !
I was like that in 2010 (probably the last time I got BADLY sick) for Christmas. It was actually in mid-December and I did everything I could to get rid of it by Christmas. I probably was 80% better by Christmas Eve...which wasn't terrible considering how sick I was the week before.

She looks SO much like Guinness, who was one of our "co-workers" here at the office for years, but passed away last year. Guinness was a mix, but I don't know what breeds were in the mix. I think his owner got one of those doggie-DNA tests done once to find out, but I never heard what the results were. Our current canine co-worker is a Golden Retriever named Hooper, who belongs to one of the writers.
I love that "Canine co-worker" :D

I love Goldens!!! So sweet!
Oh, they are! Mr. had a Golden that I met; she lived with his parents after we were married (no pets in the apartment building). She passed away several years ago. I think she was 17---her vet he'd never seen a Golden that old. We have an ornament on the Christmas tree with her picture in it. A really intelligent, sweet girl she was!

Hope your Pines Day is going well too snowflake!!! xx I just got back from the fastest hour of the day!
Thanks, just got out of a long jobsite meeting. Have to run to Harlowe's vet office, then grab a bite to eat on the way back to my office.

Hope you enjoyed your lunch!
xx

Goodness. I 'm glad you were a lot better in time for Christmas Eve at least. It is the worst being sick over the holidays.

We have a golden at the lake "Ellie" ~ she is a sweet, good girl. We always call her the marina dog b/c she makes her rounds...wherever the food is, that's where you'll find Ellie. LOL!

Mr.'s Golden was the same way! She lived near the water, and made the rounds of all the clammers and fishermen and neighbors, getting handouts along the way!

The office is too busy to pay him much attention---he just curls up and sleeps most of the day!
Here he is eagerly arriving for a day's "work":

I am going to have to look up my dropbox log in! I want to see him! :)
