[Holiday]

Hi Everyone ... Well we finally moved into our new home 3 weeks ago after some issues and delays. We are still painting and unpacking but the family is settling in nicely. I expect we will be extremely busy the next week unpacking more as we are hosting Thanksgiving dinner. Getting excited for the holidays. We were unable to decorate for fall/Halloween but while we cleared out the storage unit over the weekend I found my tote of indoor fall décor so I can at least decorate a little for Thanksgiving. Cant wait to start decorating for Christmas ...

So....my sun left me this afternoon! Looks like it could rain! I pulled up the weather & we have a chance of SNOW 7 out of the 15 days in the forecast! The 1st chance is Saturday - Bubby's wedding! Oh great....

It's going to be a beautiful day, sunny with a high of 62 degrees. I'm going to take a ride to the outlets today to do some Christmas shopping.

Good Monday Morning MMC! It's currently 42 degrees under sunny skies. We are expecting a forecast high temperature of 63 degrees under sunny skies. That's about as perfect as it can get this time of year here.
I am ready for this week. It's like I'm willing to run through a brick wall if I have to because of what's coming. I picked out my turkey yesterday (a big 24+ lb one) and I'm just so psyched for Thanksgiving next week. But first for this week I'm just trying to take it all in and get excited without rushing anything.
I hope you guys have a good Monday...maybe even a very good Monday because we are in to the season now so think about all the fun stuff that's just starting up for us!

Doc appointment this morning, hoping he approves return to work.
Going to clean up around here, get ready for my TOPS meeting tonight and hopefully get some more work done on my gingerbread house.

Going to be on the warm side all week, lots of sunshine. double digits at least till Wednesday.
Hope to get all the outdoor decorations put up before it turns cold again.

Wow. Already Day 4 of our long-awaited and much-coveted Christmas Season.
And now we are closing in on Thanksgiving!

Today's data:
Days to Thanksgiving: 10 (SINGLE DIGITS FROM TOMORROW!)
Days to Christmas Day: 39 (We've reached the 30's!)


Chilly temps will slowly be giving way to warmer ones as the week moves on. We may actually top 70 on Wednesday before cooling off again. Only one day of rain is predicted for this week (Thursday).
Things have begun here this last week before Thanksgiving at 42 degrees here in the capital city.

back from doc appointment, not good news. I cannot go back to work for at least 3 more weeks. Total of 2 months off, hopefully I can go back before Christmas. Trying not to be discouraged.

It's ongoing circumstances that can't be helped ... every once in a while they cast too big a shadow for a born worrier like me to ignore. The blessing is that whatever circumstances we have, Mr. and I have a great marriage and lots of love to stand them.

I'm glad you have Mr. Merry--I hope you both get through this together sooner rather than later.

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

Woof.

What a crazy morning! Jacob had a home economics project to take this morning, and he forgot about it. Nancy and I were running like crazy people trying to help him get it ready. We told him to back his car to the door so we could load it...and he drove over a water faucet in the yard. Water over the roof of the house!! So, I fixed that, but I was late for work.

Then work has been hectic, too.
