It was a lot of fun! It's a local craft beer place that opened up this past spring. The couple that owns it is actually our neighbors - they brew their own beer. Last night they had a "ladies night/stocking stuffer night" They had jewelry, hand made soaps, essential oils, handmade baby items, purses, Watkins, kids books. All kinds of vendors. It was a fun night!

They grow some of their own HOPS & buy some from a local HOPS farmer.

It's a unique place! They have entertainment & host fundraisers.

Holiday this is amazing! Such a fun idea and the Brew Barn looks so friendly.

I love a well made fruit cake. Those cheap mass produced ones are no good, have to get the hand made, loaded with fruit and nuts and wrapped in a rum soaked cheese cloth and allowed to age for at least a month.

You're right about that. Nothing beats homemade although I am sure you can find good quality ones.

The best fruit cake I have ever had is a Caribbean recipe. My goodness, it is like biting into christmas. The fruits are soaked and aged in spiced rum and cheery brandy sometimes for a year or more. It is moist and smooth and delicious! They call it black cake as it is very dark in colour.

That's the same expression I get when I begin to sip some lovely hot cocoa!

I am planning on making some tonight. I have some raw cocoa so I will be making it from scratch. I am making more work for myself but it is worth it!

I haven't been on skates for a few years. I miss my son playing hockey and being on the ice with him. But I would have to agree that 11:15pm is quite late for a game...especially after dodgeball. I had one of the worst days at work possible, just one of those days where absolutely nothing went right. Thank goodness I have tomorrow off to recharge a bit, but I do have a Dr appt. to check out what is going on with my foot.

Holy smokes that is late to have to play hockey...especially after dodge ball! Whew! Hope it all geos well! Praying you get another day or 2 or teaching this week! Have fun tonight!

It was quite late. I have at least one more day (after today) this week. Four full days of teaching! Not bad. Tomorrow would be idea, too. Next week, I already have two days booked (Tuesday and Friday). Hopefully at least two more days come about!
