It's cold down here! I had so much ice on my windshield, I had to scrape it off. That's pretty unusual for us in November!
Mama called to say that she's made an agreement to buy a lawn mower today, and wants me to take her with my truck and a trailer to get it this morning. My truck is such a mess. Lulu is the only one who rides with me, so I pretty much live like a bachelor in it, with Pepsi cans, chip bags and candy wrappers everywhere. I have to go clean it our real quick, so Mama doesn't disown me.

They're recommending tea over here. Supposedly you can drink as much as you want as long as it is black tea. Too bad I'm a coffee lover myself.
Power naps for the win. I usually take one right when I get home from work. It energizes me to get to my prepping for the next day and for whatever chores I have left around the house. It also allows me to sleep a little less during the night.Good Tuesday Morning MMC! Feel the anticipation building by the hour now instead of by the day since we're so close to turkey day. Yesterday was a long and busy day at work. I got a headache and I went home and fell asleep for an hour which as I mentioned yesterday I hardly ever do. I wound up going to bed and sleeping 7 hours afterwards still so I feel pretty energetic today. Ready for another busy day at work here but if I have to run through a brick wall today I will...to get to the Eve of Thanksgiving. We plan on leaving as early as noon on Wednesday but I'm thinking maybe it's more likely we leave by 1ish.

Mama Mia is an amazing live show, hope you guys have a great time!Good morning MMC! Happy Thanksgiving Tuesday!! I can't believe there are only 2 nights left to prepare before the big day! Crazy! Tomorrow night my sisters/nieces/Mom/mil are going to see the play/musical Mama Mia, so last night we went to Moms to watch the movie Mama Mia....now I'm really excited for tomorrow night. It's so entertaining! But that only leaves TONIGHT to get things ready for Thanksgiving! Good thing I'm not hosting!I was supposed to bring a pumpkin roll & sausage dressing to my sisters on Thursday but my sil said she has so many cupcakes left from the wedding & my sis has 3 pumpkin pies we probably won't need the pumpkin roll so I'm going to make sweet potato soufflé instead! YUM! I'll make the sausage dressing tonight (crock pot) so all I have to do is turn it on Thursday - and I can make the soufflé while watching the Macy's parade!
Ok, enough babbling from me!! I must be getting excited. HA! Have a wonderful day MMC!

Well my SIL just left for Paris now and my house will be quite over this thanksgiving holiday.
I always think it is a blessings to see your family even if it dosn't fall right on the actual holiday !

My hubbins and the cat will be alone for three nights. Looking forward to this business trip with a bit of social fun scheduled for the evening. I'm flying. I like flying, but my ears don't enjoy it. I've tried everything, chewing gum, etc. but my super sensitive ears keep ringing and take forever to un-pop. I'm going to try construction ear plugs and see if that helps this time. I don't leave until Sunday morning.
I'm sure I'll pop in on Thursday to wish all the Americans a Happy Thanksgiving, but in case I don't, please enjoy your time with family and don't burn the rolls or the beast.
I watched FREE BIRDS the other night, it was fun guessing all the voices behind the birds.
