Sounds like you're definitely ready for the feast Made. Enjoy getting ready for it and have a GREAT DAY!Good Morning, MMC!!!!! We are off to a chilly start but we are going to get up into the 50's today. So not to bad. I'm going to be spending my day boiling eggs, chopping celery and onion, peeling and cutting up carrots, making cranberry sauce, toasting some bread for the stuffing, and what ever else I find to get ready. I'm thinking of making cupcakes up too for my niece's to make into turkeys on Thanksgiving morning. They love doing stuff like that. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you CS! I'm looking forward to the play!that is a wonderful and fun play you will love it !
we are going to be watching the parade here too, we never miss it .
your dinner is sounding wonderful, enjoy your family time !
Awesome! That's funny! Hopefully you get to see all of them!wow, how exciting, I know someone who knows someone who is a relative of someone they know who is in the parade !! We will keep our eyes open for them.
That is my second most favourite parade to watch this time of the year. (The Toronto Santa Claus parade is my favourite)
LittleCS just saw Brads picture, she is so jealous !
I didn't know! Awesome!!! Thanks! I can watch while I make the sausage dressing!!! YAY! I haven't even watched my dvd of it yet!
Oh, yes! The fridge was full of leftovers, so at lunchtime the office kitchen was crammed with people bearing plates full of leftovers, lining up for the microwave!the leftovers are great for munching on !
I like this decoration! It looks like something i could make and put up on my chimney. Thank yoy for sharing!
You ar so right! You're right! You know, I tell everyone the same "to take their time and catch up whenever" then when I get behind on everyone's life I feel bad! Lol! Gotta take care of me first then I can do better to stay caught up!![]()
I have the same ear troubles when flying. I always use special flight ear plugs. It's an ear plug with a tube in it and it has in thr middle a little bead that will take the pressure of your ear. Put it in going up and before the ascending and i do not have any problem since. Have fun!Quick in and quick out as I am in hurry up and get r done mode for an out of town conference. My hubbins and the cat will be alone for three nights. Looking forward to this business trip with a bit of social fun scheduled for the evening. I'm flying. I like flying, but my ears don't enjoy it. I've tried everything, chewing gum, etc. but my super sensitive ears keep ringing and take forever to un-pop. I'm going to try construction ear plugs and see if that helps this time. I don't leave until Sunday morning.
I'm sure I'll pop in on Thursday to wish all the Americans a Happy Thanksgiving, but in case I don't, please enjoy your time with family and don't burn the rolls or the beast.

I watched FREE BIRDS the other night, it was fun guessing all the voices behind the birds.
KEEP A MERRY THOUGHT IN YOUR HEAD!
Beautiful!
Nice to see you frostyman!! Hope your Thanksgiving weekend is wonderful too! & things slow down a little for you!!Hey guys! I just want to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving if I don't get on here again. Been really busy lately. I'm really sorry to miss out on the card exchange, I've never been able to do it yet but I bet it's great fun! Have a great day everybody!
Sounds lovely and yummy!Good morning MMC! Happy Thanksgiving Tuesday!! I can't believe there are only 2 nights left to prepare before the big day! Crazy! Tomorrow night my sisters/nieces/Mom/mil are going to see the play/musical Mama Mia, so last night we went to Moms to watch the movie Mama Mia....now I'm really excited for tomorrow night. It's so entertaining! But that only leaves TONIGHT to get things ready for Thanksgiving! Good thing I'm not hosting!I was supposed to bring a pumpkin roll & sausage dressing to my sisters on Thursday but my sil said she has so many cupcakes left from the wedding & my sis has 3 pumpkin pies we probably won't need the pumpkin roll so I'm going to make sweet potato soufflé instead! YUM! I'll make the sausage dressing tonight (crock pot) so all I have to do is turn it on Thursday - and I can make the soufflé while watching the Macy's parade!
But tonight I have got to get to the grocery. UGH! I don't mind the grocery during the holidays but I really need a Kroger trip this time & that place is just nuts!
Ok, enough babbling from me!! I must be getting excited. HA! Have a wonderful day MMC!

Have fun with the grandson making memories together! Here I go again, "post and run". Sorry, got to go in a few!
I can say one thing that I didn't think would happen but I am ahead of schedule!!! Since I am hosting Thanksgiving I am usually running crazy up until that day getting everything ready. I managed to get a whole lot done yesterday so today I can chill a bit today, that way I can be ready for a lot of cooking tomorrow. My mom and I might go take a walk at the Arboretum today and grab some lunch. I am very excited that my oldest grandson will be joining me tomorrow to help bake and cook! We will have the Christmas music blaring so we can sing along and maybe dance around a bit - Lol! That's a must! Maybe when I get home I can actually read over the forums a bit and catch up with you all!
If only...
Oreo!!!!!!!No, I hide the Oreo evidence quickly. Don't want Nancy to know how many I actually eat.![]()
